Preface
This issue relates to some fundamental pediatric topics: bone manifestation of faulty perinatal hormonal imprinting, breath-holding spells, human breast milk-acquired Cytomegalovirus infection, childhood solitary cutaneous mastocytoma, alpha1-antitrypsin deficiency.
These topics are presented as comprehensive, updated but also clear reviews. The reader will go in depth to each topic with-out difficulties and will enjoy the reading improving his knowledge.
The observational study “Unlicensed and Off-label Prescription of Medications in General Paediatric” can be very usuful in the paediatric daily practice.
Two reviews deal with two challenges in paediatric care namely the diagnostic of tree nut allergy and the approach to tall stature. These challenges are well analyzed and discussed.
The Editor’s choice goes to the article “Tall Stature: A Challenge for Clinicians” for his very diagnostic and therapeutic intriguing aspects.
I hope the reader will enjoy this issue of CPR, which hopefully can be a good help for him in the daily practice.
