Abstract. We review the observational status of the Supernova/Gamma-Ray Burst connection. Long duration Gamma-ray Bursts are associated with a tiny fraction of SNe-Ib/c. Current estimates of the SN and GRB rates yield a ratio GRB/SNe-Ibc in the range ∼ 0.4% − 3%.
