International Symposium on Geospatial Health, with

the theme “A One Health Approach in Geospatial Health”

August 13-14, 2010, Melbourne, Australia

“A One Health Approach in Geospatial Health” will pro-vide a forum on the relationship between health, humans, animals and the environment. The meeting will include invited speakers and the possibility to present results of submitted abstracts. The symposium is held prior to the XIIthInternational Congress of Parasitology (ICOPA), held

in Melbourne, Australia, August 15-20, 2010. On Monday, August 16, 2010 GnosisGIS is responsible for a special ICOPA session entitled: “Geospatial Health: Predicting Distribution of Parasitic Diseases”. It is recom-mended that all GnosisGIS members attending our sympo-sium on August 13 and 14, 2010 also come to this special event. The symposium will be organised in close collabo-ration with the School of Population Health, University of Queensland, Australia.

Early Registration: by July 1, 2010 210 AUD

Late Registration: after July 1, 2010 260 AUD The registration fee includes lunch, coffee and access to conference facilities.

Students are eligible to apply for a travel award on the registration fee if abstract is accepted.
