The research activity is focused on diagnosis, prognosis and therapy of myeloproliferative neoplasms with special interest for familial cases.

Active collaboration with the lab of Robert Kralovics, Principal Investigator at Center for Molecular Medicine (CeMM), Austrian Academy of Sciences, Vienna, Austria.
Principal investigator and subinvestigator in sponsored and non-sponsored trials in patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms, including recent trials with JAK2 inhibitors.
