The Organization Dear Sirs/Madams,

I am sending this email in favor of Mr. Ahmad Thaher’s application for the International Volunteering Award 2017.

Please accept my apologies as I am out of town to fill and sign the application form and would appreciate if you may consider this email instead.

Ahmad has been an exceptional volunteer with Madrasati. Madrasati is a Queen Rania Al Abdullah initiative that was launched in 2008 with the aim of rejuvenating 500 of the neediest public schools in Jordan. We garner societal support to improve the learning environments in these schools through physical renovation and introducing enrichment co- curricular/after school programs and activities.

Ahmad, through his work with IFMSA, has established Madaris project and has mobilized tens of volunteers to work in 3 public schools. They held several health awareness sessions about infectious and communicable diseases and personal hygiene in addition to carrying dental and medical check-ups for the students. He has also contributed to the volunteering program in Madrasati and has helped in promoting its ethos and values.
