We analyse what happen if we insert same FD SS in a HD scenario. The test have been made with 1FD station, 3FD, 5FD, 10FD; the other parameters are the same that we used in all other tests.
Increasing the number of FD station the performance of the system is better than a scenario with no FD station. The reason is that the scheduler schedules the FD transmission in places in which a HD station can be scheduled. The performance of all connections (both full duplex and half duplex) are improved and the following graphics are only one example.
The global throughput of the system is a bit increase and the S versus G situation increasing the number of FD station like more a total FD scenario as we can note in this graphics:
