T PP

Glass/PP Fabrics

Twintex* T PP

is a fabric woven with commingled E-glass and polypropylene rovings.

Twintex T PP is processed by in-mould pressure after heating above the melting temperature of the PP matrix : 180°C - 230°C (360°F - 450°F) , or by calendering.

• heating / compression / cooling in the mould

• preheating outside the mould and compression in a cold mould

• vacuum moulding / heating / cooling • calendering

Packaging

Each roll is wrapped in a polyethylene bag, packed in a cardboard box and palletised.

Storage

TWINTEX T PP must be stored in its original packaging, away from humidity and at a moderate temperature.

The best conditions are at a temperature between 15 and 35°C (60°F and 95°F) and at a 35 to 65% relative humidity level.

If the product is stored at a low temperature (below 15°C/60°F), it is advisable to condition it in the workshop, for at least 24 hours before use, to prevent condensation.
