A) In the years 1980-1983, together with Prof. Peter van Nieuwenhuizen recipient of a NATO grant for the scientific collaboration between ’ITP at Stony Brook and the Department of Theoretical Physics of Torino University.

B) Since 1992 until 2008 coordinator of italian nodes within European Research Networks. Precisely

1. Four year contract SCI*CT92 0789 of the European SCIENCE Programme entitled Gauge theories, applied supersymmetry and quantum gravity. European coordinator Prof. A. Van Proeyen of Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium). Prof. Fr´e was coordinator of the italian node including SISSA of Trieste, the University of Milano II and the University of Padova.

2. Four years contract ERBFMRXCT96-0045 of the European Progrmme TMR (Training and Mobility of Researchers) entitled Quantum Aspects of gauge theories, supersymmetry and unification. European coordinator Prof. A. Van Proeyen of Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium). Prof. Fr´e was coordinator of the italian node including the University of Torino, Milano I, Milano II, Genova and the Politecnico of Torino.

Four year contract HPRN-CT-2000-00131 of the RTN (Research Training Networks) Euro- pean Programme, entitled The quantum structure of space-time and the geometric nature of fundamental interactions European coordinator Prof. A. Van Proeyen of Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium). Prof. Fr´e was coordinator of the italina node including the University ofTorino, Milano I, and the Politecnico of Torino.

4. Four year contract MRTN-CT-2004-005104 with title Constituents, Fundamental Forces and Symmetries of the Universe. European coordinator Prof. Dieter Luest of the Ludwig Max- imilians University of M¨unchen (Germany). Prof. Fr´e was coordinator of the italian node including the University of Torino, Milano I, and of thePolitecnico di Torino.

In the framework of these networks, for about 14 years Prof. Fr´e helped the central european coordinator in the preparation of all the necessary texts, reports and summaries. Furthermore he participated in the organization of the selection procedures for european postdoctoral fellows.

The research units were located in the University of Torino, in SISSA of Trieste, in the University of Eastern Piedmont, in the Politecnico of Torino, in the University of Milano I, in the University of Milano Bicocca, in the University of Padova, in the University of Napoli Federico II, in the University of Rome II Tor Vergata.

5 Relations with Russia and Ucraine

1) In 2001-2003 Prof. Fr´e partecipated in the organization of Schools and Conferences with the Bo- golyubov Institute of Theoretical Physics of the Accademy of Sciences of Kiev

2) Since 2001 Prof. Fr´e has developped an intense scientific collaboration with Prof. A.S. Sorin, of the JINR (Joint Institute of Nuclear Research) of Dubna .

3) Since 2003 Prof. Fr´e is member of the Advisory Committee of the Dubna School in Modern Mathe- matical Physics

4) Since 2013 Prof. Fr´e is member of the Scientific Council of the JINR.

6 Honors

1) In 2008, together with his colleague Prof. Aleksander S. Sorin Prof. Pietro Fr´e was awarded the first Premium of the Joint Institute of Nuclear Research for their researches in Theoretical Physics with particular reference to the programme on Cosmic Billiards and Integrable Systems.

2) In November 2013 Prof. Fr´e was awarded the title of Professor Honorabilis of the Ivanovo State Technical Chemical University.
