REMOTE HEALTH CHECK
The remote health check (Televisita) supports and does not replace traditional healthcare services, it actually makes it possible to guarantee continuity of care for those patients who are already included in the follow-up agendas, since, due to the Covid-19 emergency, the visit in person cannot always be carried out in the hospital.
It is still a medical diagnostic act, activated by the specialist, in which the doctor interacts with the patient and can lead to the prescription of medicines or treatments.
NOTE
The decision on whether to carry out a remote health check is taken by the specialist doctor in charge of the patient.
The remote health check services, during the period of the Covid 19 health emergency, are not subject to payment.
The remote health check is carried out on a local technological platform and it provides safety standards and it is easy to use. No prior registration is required.
How to access the remote health check platform
To access the remote health check “Televisita” platform of the Tuscany Region it is necessary to have: a computer, smartphone or tablet, a webcam and a microphone, internet connection and the patient’s tax code.
The specialist check-up via “Televisita” will be delivered on the day and time of the appointment communicated by the doctor by connecting to the platform at the following web address
