Verdicchio
Verdicchio is a white wine grape variety that has been cultivated for hundreds of years in the Marche region of central Italy. It is a versatile variety, used both for light, easy-drinking table wines, and for more complex, ageworthy examples. The binding characteristic across these styles is the telltale almond flavor, which can be accompanied by bitter notes when young or a rich, sweet suggestion of marzipan and honey as the wine ages.

Cervaro Della Sala
The name Cervaro comes from the noble family that owned Castello della Sala during the 14th century, Monaldeschi della Cervara. A blend of Chardonnay grapes and a small quantity of Grechetto make a wine
that can age over time and represent the elegance and complexity of this unique estate.
Cervaro della Sala is one of the first Italian white wines to have malolactic fermentation and aging take place in barriques.

Soave
Soave is an Italian white wine made of Garganega grapes grown around the medieval village of ‘Soave’ in Northern Italy. Soave wine is known for its melon-and-orange-zest flavors and is usually a dry, light-bodied wine, much like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Gris, but it often with a smooth oily like richness that adds a little extra punch. It pairs incredibly well with rich Italian Seafood, clams and gnocchi, squid ink linguini, scallops, and risotto for instance.

Barbera
Italy is Barbera’s original home and the best Barbera wines come from the Piedmont region.
The style of the wine is fresh, with tart blackberry notes and abundant acidity.
Barbera wines are the perfect pairing with rich dark meats, mushrooms, herbs, herbaceous cheeses like blue cheese and higher tannin foods like root vegetables & braised greens.
The bright acidity in the wine will make a rich fatty or high tannin dish complete.

Barbaresco
The mostly soils in Barbaresco, along with its slightly milder climate results in wines with noticeably less tannins than Barolo. This does not mean is not tannic, is just more elegant and delicate. In terms of flavors, Barbaresco delivers amazing red fruit (strawberry, raspberry, cherry) along with notes of roses and anise and it’s not quite as “tarry.”Traditional pairings for Barbaresco are rich meat-focused dishes like braised short
ribs, beef roasts, lamb or veal chops.

Barolo
Barolo is actually the fruitiest and most full-bodied of all the Nebbiolo regions in Northern Italy. When drinking it, expect flavors of raspberry, red cherry, roses, allspice and truffles. The lighter-tasting wine communes include La Morra and Barolo, while the bolder-tasting wine communes include Serralunga d’Alba, Monforte d’Alba, and Castiglione Falletto, The wine’s high acidity is perfect to match against
higher acid foods with saltiness, fat or olive oil to compliment the wine’s tannin.

Castello Di Monsanto
The family rejected shortcuts, commercially driven compromises on quality which would have required the vines to be planted densely, large concentrations of vines and the use of chemicals.
They refused to embrace trends that had erased the identity of entire regions, companies and their wines.
Castello di Monsanto has followed this strategy ever since its creation – and these are the decisions that have made it what it is today, despite them meaning having to take a harder path.

Brunello di Montalcino
Brunello di Montalcino is one of Italy’s top regional wines, first labeled as such in 1865 by Biondi-Santi.
Wines are made with 100% special clone of Sangiovese, called Brunello or Prugnolo Gentile.
Due to its thicker-skinned berries, Brunello produces wines with exceptionally bold fruit flavors, high tannin, and high acidity. Brunello, with its savory punch and brilliant acidity make it a fair contender with richly flavored red meats, tomato-based dishes and Tuscan-inspired fare that highlights olive oil and vinegar.

aromatics, along with elegance, harmony and fruit.
