Subject: Information pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EC) No 2016/679

Pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter "GDPR 2016/679"), containing provisions for the protection of persons and other subjects with regard to the processing of personal data, we wish to inform you that the personal data you provide will be processed in compliance with the above mentioned legislation and the obligations of confidentiality to which the University of Teramo is subject.

1. Holder of the treatment

The owner of the treatment is the University of Teramo, via Balzarini, 1, 64100 Teramo.

2. Data Protection Officer (DPO)

The Data Protection Officer (DPO) can be reached by e-mail at rpd@unite.it and by registered letter with return receipt at the address: University of Teramo - GDPR Office, Via Balzarini 1, 64100 - Teramo.

3. Purpose and legal basis of the treatment

All personal data collected will be processed on the basis of European provisions, laws and regulations, for the performance of institutional activities relating to the selection for admission to the PhD courses of the University of Teramo - cycle XXXVII - a.i. 2021/2022.

4. Treatment modalities

Personal data are processed with automated and manual tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected as indicated in the previous point and in order to ensure the

integrity, confidentiality and security of the same by the staff of the University of Teramo, which acts on the basis of specific instructions provided in relation to the purposes and methods of treatment.

5. Recipients of the data

Personal data may be communicated to other public and private entities only by virtue of Community provisions, laws and regulations for the achievement of the purposes listed above in paragraph 3.

In particular, they may be communicated to the members of the Examination Boards for evaluation as part of the selection procedure.

6. Period of storage of personal data

The data are kept by the University of Teramo for the time strictly necessary to pursue the purposes described above, except for the term of five years to ensure the administrative requirements required by law and possibly longer periods, not determined in advance, as a result of different conditions of lawfulness of treatment.

The data will be kept by the owner, in accordance with the principles set out in art. 5 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

7. Transfer of personal data

Your data will not be transferred to EU Member States or to third countries outside the EU.

8. Special categories of personal data

In accordance with art. 9 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679, you may provide the University of Teramo with data qualifying as "special categories of personal data". These categories of data may be processed by the University of Teramo only with your free and explicit consent, given in writing.

9. Existence of an automated decision-making process, including profiling

The University of Teramo does not adopt any automated decision-making process, including profiling, as referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) of EU Regulation No 679/2016.

10. Rights of the interested party

The subjects to whom the personal data refer, in their capacity as Interested Parties, may exercise at any time:

- the right of access to the data,

- the right to request rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of personal data, - the right to object to the processing,

- the right to data portability.

Furthermore, the interested party, pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 3 of EU Reg. 679/2016, has the right to revoke his consent at any time, without however affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation.

11. Exercise of the rights of the data subject

For the exercise of the rights, referred to in point 10, relating to this procedure, the person concerned may contact the Data Protection Officer at the University of Teramo, which can be contacted at the e-mail address rpd@unite.it. or by sending a registered letter with return receipt to the University of Teramo, - GDPR Office - Via Balzarini, 1 64100 Teramo.

12. Right of complaint

Data subjects who believe that the processing of their personal data is in violation of the provisions of the Regulations have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data, as provided for in art. 77 of the Regulations, or to bring an action before the appropriate courts.
