The course is divided into three main parts. The first part discusses neoclassical production theory and general equilibrium under certainty and uncertainty. In the second part, building on the second year undergraduate course in Microeconomics the course will discuss contract theory in the context of asymmetric information. Finally the third part will be dedicated to introduce some main themes of mechanism design.

Lectures will draw from more than one textbook, and references will be indicated at the beginning of each part.
