AIR-K è il sistema fornito da UKEG per la costruzione di serramenti in acciaio a isolamento termico da 2 mm, di profondità 60mm e larghezza variabile da 10 a 75 mm asolato. Il profilato è un tubolare chiuso saldato in continuo, in acciaio zincato Sendzimir o acciaio Corten senza interposizione di materiali plastici con una doppia serie di asole longitudinali sfalsate che riduce la dispersione termica, mantenedo un’

elevata resistenza

meccanica. L’estrema resistenza dell’acciaio e la serie di accessori scelti e progettati accuratamente permettono la realizzazione di serramenti di grandi dimensioni, con contenuto ingombro visivo dei telai. Il giunto di chiusura, con l’inserimento di apposite

guarnizioni permettono altissime prestazioni in termini di tenuta all’aria e all’acqua.

La robustezza del profilo consente di ottenere alte prestazioni di sicurezza agli eventi atmosferici estremi, all’effrazione, al fuoco. Il profilo, grazie alla perfetta planarità e precisione e allo spessore di 2 mm assicura facilità e velocità nelle operazioni di saldatura e taglio.

L’impiego nel profilo di acciaio e di guarnizioni in silicone rimovibili rende il sistema facilmente riciclabile ed eco-compatibile.

Caratteri distintivi dei profili AIR-K:

• serramento realizzato interamente con profili in acciaio e con caratteristiche di isolamento termico: una doppia serie di asole longitudinali sfalsate riduce la dispersione termica;

• sistema di costruzione a giunto chiuso: una barriera contro acqua, vento, polveri, insetti;

• profondità del profilo studiata per alloggiare vetri multicamera e blindati;

• estetica e funzionalità: ampia gamma di finiture e verniciature;

• applicabilità per serramenti di grandi dimensioni;

• ingombro visivo dei telai contenuto;

• facilità e rapidità in fase di lavorazione (taglio e saldatura dei profili) garantite dall’idoneo spessore della lamiera del profilo.

The AIR-K system is supplied by the U-KEG Group and it is aimed at making steel profile for heat-insulated windows and doors, made entirely in 2 mm thick sheet steel, without materials similar to plastic that compromise the stability of profiles. The slotted profiles are 60 mm deep and the width is between 10 mm and 75 mm; they are closed tubular profiles welded continuously, in Sendzimir galvanized steel or Cor-Ten steel. A double set of rectangular slots offset lengthways - reduces heat dispersion and maintains very high mechanical strength.

The extreme mechanical sturdiness of the steel and the carefully chosen series of accessories allow the creation of windows and doors characterized by large dimensions, with limited frames left visible. The

“closed joint” construction system forms excellent water and air barrier.

The sturdiness of the profiles allows high safety performances against extreme atmospheric events, guaranteeing the required high levels of heat and sound insulation and safety.

The profile, thanks to the perfect flatness and precision and the thickness of 2 mm, ensures ease and speed in welding and cutting operations. The use in the steel profiles of removable silicone gaskets makes the system easily recyclable and eco-friendly.

Summary of the main features of the AIR-K profiles:

•the frame made entirely of steel profiles and with thermal insulation features: a double set of rectangular slots offset lengthways reduces heat dispersion; the “closed joint” construction system forms excellent barrier against water, wind, dust, insects;

•the depth has been studied to fit double glazing and armoured glasse;

•aesthetics and functionality: wide range of finishing and coating;

•suitable for large doors and windows;

•minimum visual interference of the frame;

•the suitable thickness of the steel profile sheet (2mm) offers advantages in the cutting and welding processes, resulting in time and cost savings.
