Il Progetto Life Braver
• B.R.A.V.E.R Boosting Regulatory Advantages Vis à vis Emas Registration
• È un progetto finanziato dal Programma LIFE della Commissione Europea (LIFE15 ENV/IT/000509,
www.lifebraver.eu)
• L’obiettivo principale è promuovere l’adozione di misure di semplificazione normativa (“ regulatory relief ”) a livello
europeo, nazionale e regionale, a favore delle organizzazioni certificate (registrare EMAS, in primis, o certificate ISO
14001), al fine di incentivare la diffusione degli schemi di certificazione ambientale volontaria
• Il principale risultato atteso del Progetto è l’identificazione e lo sviluppo di misure per una migliore regolamentazione e per la semplificazione normativa, di cui verranno testate l’utilità e l’efficacia

L’ «eredità’» del Progetto BRAVE
• BRAVER è l’“erede” del precedente Progetto Life BRAVE (2011-2014), selezionato nel 2015 dalla Commissione europea fra i 20 migliori Progetti LIFE ( Environment e Information ) in Europa
• L’obiettivo di fondo è di dimostrare che una
“migliore normazione” nelle policy ambientali è possibile se gli schemi di certificazione volontari, come la registrazione EMAS e la certificazione
ISO 14001, sono effettivamente e proattivamente considerati e richiamati nello sviluppo di nuove
norme e nella revisione di quelle esistenti
Principali target di progetto
• Sviluppo di almeno 70 proposte di semplificazione normativa a favore delle organizzazioni con certificazioni ambientale
• Applicazione sperimentale di almeno 25 delle proposte sviluppate
• Adozione di almeno 16 fra la proposte sviluppate
Ad oggi:
Sviluppo di 80 proposte di semplificazione
Applicazione sperimentale di 25 proposte
