Israele, l’Europa e una nuova visione per il Medio Oriente

Roma, 8 settembre 2008 – Aspen Institute Italia in collaborazione con l’Ambasciata di Israele a Roma e il Weidenfeld Institute for Strategic Dialogue, organizza a Roma preso il Ministero degli Affari Esteri il 17 settembre prossimo la conferenza internazionale “Italia, Europa, Israele: come costruire una partnership privilegiata”.

L’evento si inserisce nel programma di celebrazione del 60° Anniversario della nascita dello Stato di Israele ed è aperto alla stampa.

Al centro del dibattito un’agenda concreta per una partnership strategica tra Europa ed Israele: le aspettative dell’Europa, il punto di vista di Israele sulla nuova partnership euromediterranea, il fattore Iran, il rapporto tra Israele e la Nato, il problema di come costruire la convivenza dei due stati in una logica di pacificazione. Particolare attenzione viene anche dedicata al rilancio della partnership economica in termini di investimenti e cooperazione.
