VISTA la Legge n. 210 del 3 luglio 1998, in particolare l’art. 4, in materia di dottorato di ricerca;

VISTA la Legge n. 240 del 30 dicembre 2010, in particolare l’art. 19, in materia di dottorato di ricerca;

VISTO il Decreto Ministeriale n. 45 dell’8 febbraio 2013 “Regolamento recante modalità di accreditamento delle sedi e dei corsi di dottorato e criteri per la istituzione dei corsi di dottorato da parte degli enti accreditati”;

VISTO il Regolamento interno per i Corsi di Dottorato di ricerca dell’Università degli Studi di Udine emanato con Decreto Rettorale n. 202 del 20 aprile 2018;

VISTO il bando per l’ammissione ai corsi di dottorato di ricerca con sede amministrativa presso l’Università degli Studi di Udine, 36° ciclo – a.a. 2020/2021, emanato con Decreto Rettorale n. 226 del 5 giugno 2020;

VISTA la dichiarazione del Dipartimento di Aerea Medica con la quale si comunica il finanziamento di una borsa per la frequenza del corso di dottorato di ricerca in Scienze biomediche e biotecnologiche, con riferimento al programma di ricerca

“Ecografia salivare e biopsia delle ghiandole salivari, ecoguidata e tradizionale, nella sindrome di Sjogren: informazioni ed ulteriori sviluppi dallo studio multicentrico europeo HarmonicSS” a valere sui fondi

“H2020_NECESSITY_2019_De_Vita” e

“PJ_A_EP_2017_Cofin_RTD/A_HarmonicSS_De_Vita;

VISTA la delibera del CREA, Consiglio per la ricerca in agricoltura e l’analisi dell’economi agraria, datata 29 giugno 2020 (registro ufficiale n. 48445) con la quale si dichiara l’interesse a finanziare una borsa triennale per il corso di dottorato in Scienze e Biotecnologie Agrarie, 36° ciclo, dal titolo “Approcci sostenibili per il miglioramento della biodiversità microbica in vigneto",

PRESO ATTO che la borsa dottorato finanziata dal CREA per il corso in Scienze e Biotecnologie Agrarie, 36° ciclo, è finalizzata allo sviluppo di uno specifico programma di ricerca e pertanto richiede la presenza di un esperto esterno fra i membri effettivi della Commissione giudicatrice;

PRESO ATTO che la scheda di accreditamento del corso di dottorato in Ingegneria industriale e dell’Informazione, 36 ciclo, prevede anche un 1 posto senza borsa;

PRESO ATTO che i posti con borsa sopraccitati sono assegnati subordinatamente alla sottoscrizione degli accordi che ne regolamentano il finanziamento, come previsto dall’art. 14 comma 7 del bando;

RICHIAMATO l’art. 2 comma 3 del bando sopraccitato che prevede la possibilità di incrementare i posti disponibili in presenza di ulteriori finanziamenti da parte di soggetti pubblici o privati, fermo restando il termine per la presentazione della domanda di ammissione al concorso indicato all’art. 6 (22 luglio 2020 ore 14);

CONSIDERATO che è necessario procedere all’integrazione e modifica del bando di concorso in oggetto con riferimento ai posti disponibili per il corso di dottorato di ricerca in Scienze biomediche e biotecnologiche, Scienze a biotecnologie agrarie e Ingegneria industriale e dell’informazione

1) È incrementato da 8 a 9 il numero dei posti con borsa disponibili nel concorso generale per l’ammissione al corso di dottorato di ricerca in Scienze biomediche e biotecnologiche (scheda A) ed è contestualmente integrato l’elenco dei programmi di ricerca con il programma 15 “Ecografia salivare e biopsia delle ghiandole salivari, ecoguidata e tradizionale, nella sindrome di Sjogren:

The applicant is eligible to the course if he/she passes the oral exam.

Teaching and other training activities will take place primarily at the administrative course location or in other structures of the University of Udine.

The research program will be mainly developed, depending on the scholarship (see art. 11 of the notice) and/or on the supervisor assigned, at one of these locations: administrative location, associated location, financial supporter’s location (if the financial supporter is an external institution).

2. Advanced electron devices based on innovative materials and architectures in the Beyond CMOS and More than Moore domains: graphene, 2D crystals, III-V compound semiconductor devices;

3. Semi-classical (BTE) and quantum mechanical (NEGF) simulation of nanoelectronics devices;

4. Integrated circuit design for energy efficient communications, energy conversion and management;

5. Innovative communication paradigms and systems: systems with multiple antennae, distributed communication systems, HW and SW architectures for telecommunications;

6. Multimedia signals processing and analysis: video and image encoding, video streaming based on peer-to-peer networks, joint source/channel encoding, compressive sensing;

7. Test and development of metaheuristic algorithms for combinatorial problems:

Required degree Italian Laurea (before DM 509/99) or Italian Laurea specialistica/magistrale (ex DM 509/1999 and DM 270/04).

Foreign degrees and titles: refer to art. 3 and 4 of the notice.

4. Research project, dated and signed, developed under the research topics listed in this table (approximate limit 10.000 characters; English language).

Competition procedure and test schedule Evaluation of titles and oral exam.

For the evaluation of applicants’ attitude for scientific research and their basic skills to tackle the course program, the Selection Committee can attribute up to 100 points to each applicant: max 30 points to the titles and max 70 points to the oral exam. The applicant is admitted to the oral exam if his/her titles receive at least 16 points. The oral exam is passed with at least 49 points. The applicant is eligible to the course if he/she passes the oral exam.

Oral exam The oral examination consists of an individual interview of about 15 minutes aiming to assess the applicant flair to undertake a research doctorate and to carry out the research tasks in the areas of interest for the doctorate.

The interview will be assessed considering the following criteria:

a) technical and scientific competence in the topics of the doctorate;

b) knowledge of the state of the art for the doctorate curricula, c) mastery of English language.
