R(φ) = A + B cos2(φ − φ0)
µ = Rmax−Rmin
Rmax+Rmin = B B + 2A
IXPEImaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer Performance del GPD come polarimetro
B Fattore di modulazione: 0.2 (0.7) a 2 (8) keV.
B Stabilità su ∼ 3 anni dimostrata con un rivelatore sigillato;
B Modulazione residua per radiazione non polarizzata ∼ 0.1%.
B Risoluzione spaziale: ∼ 90 µm a 5.9 keV ( traccia).
B Risoluzione energetica(FWHM): ∼ 15% a 5.9 keV.

B Clustering is done with the DBSCAN algorithm
B One parameter can be tuned: the pixel density which defines the core of the cluster (number of neighbours over threshold)
B Default (optimal?) value is 4, to remove the tails
