You cannot input the same power as "peak power" continually.

When the volume is set too high, the sound may be distorted or abnormal. Reduce the volume promptly in case of such phenomena.

While the listening volume is set to a high level, do not load or eject a disc or cassette tape or operate the selector and power switches of the amplifier.

1. Posate la mascherina, in dotazione, sui pannello e marcate Ie posizioni per i fori.

2. Tagliate un grande foro e eseguirei fori per Ie viti.

3. Togliete il foglio protettivo del distanziale e applicatelo suI bordo posteriore del diffusore, in modo che esso sia completamente coperto.

Nota: - - - -

La temperatura del diffusore aumenta se viene usato alunge e ad alto volume.

Non loccare. e non ins!allarlo vicino a se. Potrebbe causare ustioni 0 danni ad oggetti circostanti

Installazione

1. Place the supplied template on the panel and then mark the hole positions.

2. Cut open a large hole and make screw holes.

3. Peel off the covering sheet from the spacer, and attach the spacer on the back of the speaker flange so that the flange is completely covered.

Primeiro, verifique a potencia do amplificador. Se a potencia do amplificador for superior a potencia de entrada nominal do sub-altifalante de graves (subwoofer), aumente a quantidade de subwoofers de maneira que a potencia conduzida a cada subwoofer seja inferior a potencia de entrada nominal, ou reduza sensibilidade do amplificador. 0 suprimento de potencia superior a potencia de entrada nominal do subwoofer causara rufdos e/ou rupturas. Tambem, se estiver a utilizar varios subwoofers, tenha 0 cuidado com a impedfmcia total. Mude a forma de Iigac;ao dos altifalantes de acordo com a capacidade de impedancia do amplificador..

Connessioni del sistema

lnnanzi tuno, control1ate la tensione dell'amplificatore. se la tensione dell'amplificatore supera la tensione di entrata nomina Ie del subwoofer. aumentate il numero di subwoofer in modo tale che la tensione per ogni subwoofer sia inferiore rispeno alia tensione di ingresso nomina Ie oppure inferiore al sensibilita dell'amplificatore. Se fornite una tensione superiore rispeno alia tensione di ingresso nominale del subwoofer. questa puo causare la generazione di rumore elo dar luogo a guasti. lnoltre, se usate piu subwoofer, fate attenzione all'impedenza totale. Cambiate la struttura di collegamemo degli altoparlanti a seconda dell'impedenza ammessa dall'ampliflcatore.

Conexiones del sistema

Primero, compruebe la patencia del amplificador. Cambie el patron de conexi6n de los altavoces segun la capacidad de impedancia del amplificador.

System connections

First, check the power of the amplifier. If the power of the amplifier is higher than the subwoofer's rated input power, increase the number of subwoofers so that the power fed to each subwoofer is lower than its rated input power, or lower the sensitivity of the amplifier. Supplying power greater than its rated input power of the subwoofer will cause noise and/or breakage. Also, if using multiple subwoofers, be careful about the total impedance. Change the connecting pattern of the speakers according to the capable impedance of the amplifier.

Kenwood U.S.A. Corporation I"Kenwood") warrants this product for a period of one 11) year from the date of original purchase.

WHAT IS COVERED AND WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Except as specified below. this warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship in Kenwood car stereo components.

The following are not covered by the warranty:

1. Any product which is not distributed in the U.S.A. by Kenwood or which is not purchased in the U.S.A. from an authorized Kenwood car stereo dealer or an automobile dealer, unless the product is purchased through the U.S.A Military Exchange Service.

2. Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.

3. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:

a. Any shipment of the product (claims must be presented to the carrier).

b. Installation or removal of the product.

c. Accident, acts of nature, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorized product modification or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.

d. Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by Kenwood.

e. Any other cause which does not relate to a product defect.

WHO IS PROTECTED

This warranty is enforceable only by the original purchaser.

WHAT WE WILL PAY FOR

We will pay for all labor and material expenses for covered items. Payment of shipping charges is discussed in the next section of this warranty.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE

If your KENWOOD product ever needs service:

,. Take or ship it to any KENWOOD Authorized Service Center in the U.S.A. along with & complete description of the problem. (if you are uncertain as to whether a Service Center is authorized, please call 1-800-KENWOOD for the nearest Service Center. '·800·536-9663).

2. Although you must pay any shipping charges if it is necessary to ship the product for warranty service, we will pay the return shipping charges if the repairs are covered by the warranty within the United States.

3. Whenever your units are taken or sent for warranty service, you must include a copy of the original dated sales receipt as proof of warranty coverage.

LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LENGTH OF THIS WARRANTY.

EXCLUSION OF DAMAGES

KENWOOD'S LIABILITY FOR ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT AT OUR OPTION. KENWOOD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

1. INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL CHARGES, DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY CAUSED BY ANY DEFECTS IN KENWOOD CAR STEREO COMPONENTS, DAMAGES BASED UPON INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT; OR 2. ANY OTHER DAMAGES, WHETHER INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHERWISE.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS QN HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS AND/OR DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

EXPRESS WARRANTY STATEMENT FOR CAR STEREO AND PERSONAL AUDIO COMPONENTS

KENWOOD ELECTRONICS AUSTRALIA PTY. LTD. is proud of the quality and workmanship of its audio equipment. This unit has been properly designed, tested and inspected before it was shipped to you. If properly installed and operated in accordance with instructions furnished, it should give optimum reliable performance.

SCOPE OF EXPRESS WARRANTY

Each of the KENWOOD brand products is expressly warranted under normal installation and use against defects in material and workmanship. During the express warranty period. KENWOOD ELECTRONICS AUSTRALIA PTY. LTD. will provide to any KENWOOD Authorised Service Centre in Australia free of charge both parts and labour necessary to correct any defect in material or workmanship. However, the exclusions noted under the heading "CONDITIONS OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY"

are not covered by this express warranty.

EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD

The KENWOOD brand car stereo and personal audio components are expressly warranted for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of the original purchase.

CONDITIONS OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY

When requesting service under KENWOOD express warranty record, together with a valid purchase docket must be presented to an authorised KENWOOD Service Centre with your equipment.

The following are not covered by this express warranty:

1. Voltage conversions.

2. Cabinets, grilles, other exterior finishes, belts, tape heads, and other non-durable parts and accessories.

3. Any fault caused by faulty installation, water damage, the vehicle (including its electrical system) or connection to an incorrect power supply.

4. Periodic check-ups which do not disclose any defects covered by the warranty.

5. Units on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.

6. Damage or deterioration:

a. Resulting from installation and/or removal of the product.

b. Resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorised product modification or failure to follow instructionscontained in the Owner's Manual.

c. Resulting from repair by anyone not authorised by KENWOOD.

d. Resulting from installation of parts or accessories that do not conform to the quality or specifications of the original parts or accessories.

e. Occurring during shipment (claims must be presented to shipper).

7. Damaged magnetic tapes.

8. Installation and removal charges are not covered.

9. This express warranty excludes shipping or delivery charges to or from an authorised KENWOOD Service Centre.

10. The benefits conferred by this express warranty are in addition to all other rights and remedies in respect of the product which the consumer has under the Trade Practices Act and/or other State or Territory Laws.

EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES

KENWOOD's liability for any defective product is limited to the repair or replacement of said product at our option, and shall not include damages of any kind, whether incidental. consequential or otherwise.

1. Make your equipment available, with this warranty record and purchase docket attached, to the dealer from whom you made the purchase, or the nearest authorised KENWOOD Service Centre, or ship your equipment in its original packaging, or equivalent.

KENWOOD warrants that each new Kenwood product, under normal use, is free from any defects, subject to the terms and conditions set forth below. During the warranty period, any authorized KENWOOD Service Center in the military market listed in the back of this warranty card will provide you free-of-charge both parts and labor required to correct any defect in materials or workmanship.

The following are not covered by this warranty.

1. Voltage conversions.

2. Periodic check-ups which do not disclose any defect covered by the warranty.

3. Cabinets. grilles, other exterior finishes, belts, tape heads, and other non·durable parts and accessories.

4. Units on which the serial number has been effaced, modified or removed.

5. Installation and/or removal charges.

6. Damaged magnetic lapes.

7. House call charges for any repairs.

8. Shipping or delivery charges to or from an authorized KENWOOD Service Center.

9. This warranly will not cover any failure that is due to any of the following conditions in accordance with the visual inspection of the authorized KENWOOD Service Center:

• Improper maintenance or repair, including the instatlation of parts or accessories that do not conform to the quality and specifications of the original parts.

Misuse, abuse. neglect, unauthorized product modification or failure to follow instructions contained in the Owner's Manual.

Accidental or intentional damages.

Repairsor attempted repairs byan unauthorized agency. (All repairs mustbeperformed at an authorized KENWOOD ServiceCenter.l

Damages or deteriorations caused during shipment (Claims must be presented to the carrierl.

Damages or deteriorations reSUlting from removal and/or replacement.

PURCHASER'S RESPONSIBILITIES

As the purchased of a new KENWOOD brand product, you are requested to do the following in order to obtain KENWOOD warranty service.

1. Retain your sales slip or other evidence of purchase for proving your eligibility for requesting KENWOOD warranty service.

2, Make your unit available to an authorized KENWOOD Service Center in the military market for inspection and approved warranty service, or ship your unit in its original carton box or equivalent, fully insured and shipping charges prepaid, to the authorized KENWOOD Service Center.

LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES

Any and all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shallbelimited in duration to the length of this warranty.

EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES

KENWOOO's liability for any defective product is limited to the repair or replacement of said product, at our potion, and shall not include damages of any kind, whether incidental, consequential or otherwise, expect to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
