Ieri, 30 maggio, è stato il compleanno di Nasrin Sotoudeh, l'ennesimo trascorso in stato di detenzione.
I Comitati Pari Opportunità degli Ordini degli Avvocati sottoelencati, ritengono che la collega avvocata dei diritti umani non possa e non debba essere dimenticata.
In carcere dal 2018 per le sue battaglie per i diritti umani e le discriminazioni di genere, nell’ottobre scorso è stata trasferita, dalla prigione di Evin, alla prigione di Qarchak (considerata “l'inferno”), le cui condizioni vengono descritte come disumane, dove, poco dopo, ha anche contratto il coronavirus.
Ci sostiene il desiderio di giustizia, al nome della quale Nasrin Sotoudeh si è sempre messa al servizio ed il desiderio di dare voce a lei a cui, in questo momento, è impedito di avere voce.
Reiteriamo, pertanto, la richiesta di una presa di posizione istituzionale in favore del rilascio di Nasrin Sotoudeh, che appare ancora più urgente, considerate le attuali condizioni di detenzione e sosteniamo la richiesta del marito, Reza Khandan, di invocare l'intervento delle Nazioni Unite a condurre un'indagine indipendente su tutte le prigioni iraniane ed a chiudere immediatamente il carcere femminile di Qarchak.
