Indicazioni generali per la posa
Il supporto prima della posa dovrà essere stagionato, asciutto, dimensionalmente stabile, pulito ed in possesso di adeguate resistenze meccaniche, in funzione del tipo di traffico cui sarà soggetto.
Per la posa dei prodotti della Woodstone Collection è consigliabile utilizzare adesivi cementizi migliorati, a presa ed idratazione rapida, deformabili, di classe C2F S1 (secondo la norma EN 12004), tipo GRANIRAPID della Mapei S.p.A.
Durante la stagione calda e nel caso di supporti soggetti a leggere vibrazioni, è consigliabile l’impiego di un adesivo che alle caratteristiche summenzionate unisca il tempo aperto elevato e l’elevata deformabilità, di classe C2FTE S2, tipo ELASTORAPID della Mapei S.p.A.
Per l’applicazione dell’adesivo utilizzare una spatola dentata in modo che la quantità stesa sul supporto assicuri una bagnatura adeguata del retro del materiale. Nel caso di formati soggetti a traffico intenso/pesante è necessario applicare l’adesivo con la tecnica della “doppia spalmatura”.
La posa dovrà essere effettuata con fuga da sigillare mediante l’impiego di idoneo sigillante cementizio classificato come CG2 WA in conformità alla norma EN 13888 (tipo ULTRACOLOR PLUS, KERACOLOR FF, KERACOLOR GG della Mapei S.p.A.) e nel rispetto di eventuali giunti presenti sul supporto.
In ogni caso giunti di dilatazione dovranno essere creati secondo la normale tecnica di posa dei materiali lapidei, in modo da delimitare campiture di 12 m² massimo, per quanto concerne la posa in esterno, e di 20 m² per la posa all’interno. La eventuale sigillatura dei giunti dovrà essere realizzata mediante l’impiego di un sigillante neutro per la pietra e marmo, tipo MAPESIL LM della Mapei S.p.A.
Le indicazioni tecniche qui riportate sono da intendersi a carattere generico e dovranno sempre essere considerate alla luce delle reali condizioni di cantiere e progettuali. Per questi motivi, è anche consigliato rivolgersi ad aziende specializzate nella posa di materiali lapidei.
Indicazioni per il trattamento superficiale dei materiali con finitura Lether
I materiali della Woodstone Collection con finitura Lether vengono sempre forniti da Antolini Luigi & C. S.p.A. senza nessun trattamento superficiale, questo per poter permettere una posa corretta degli stessi.
E’ possibile, una volta ultimata la posa, applicare dei prodotti per il trattamento superficiale, tipo Fila StonePlus della società Fila S.p.A. o MGP27 della società Massimo Piraccini Treatment Sas, prodotti che sono studiati per intensificare e tonalizzare il colore del materiale lapideo e, nel contempo, offrire una buona protezione idrorepellente.
Essendo prodotti tonalizzanti ed intensificatori del colore, è sempre consigliato effettuare un test su di un campione del materiale prima di procedere all’applicazione.
Per le istruzioni sull’applicazione e manipolazione di questi prodotti si consiglia di contattare direttamente il produttore, che sarà in grado di offrire tutte le indicazioni necessarie per il loro corretto utilizzo.
General setting instructions
Before fixing the slabs, the support shall be cured, dry, dimensionally stable, clean and with suitable mechanical strengths, according to the traffic which it will be subjected in service.
For the fixing of Woodstone Collection products it is advisable the use of an high performance, rapid setting and hydrating, flexible cementitious adhesive, classified as C2F S1 (according to the standard EN 12004), such as GRANIRAPID from Mapei S.p.A.
During hot season or in case of supports which are subject to slight vibrations, it is advisable the use of an adhesive which, besides the above mentioned characteristics, has also an extended open time and a high deformability, classified as C2FTE S2, such as ELASTORAPID from Mapei S.p.A.
The adhesive shall be applied using a suitable notched trowel, which allow to ensure the appropriate coverage of the back of the material. In case of intensive or heavy traffic, it is necessary to apply the adhesive with the “back buttering” technique.
The slabs fixing shall be done with joints to be sealed with the use of a suitable cement grout, classified as CG2 WA according to the standard EN 13888 (such as ULTRACOLOR PLUS, KERACOLOR FF, KERACOLOR GG from Mapei S.p.A.) and respecting the substrate joints. Anyhow, expansion joints shall be created in order to delimit bay size of maximum 12 square meters for external installations, and 20 square meters for internal installations. Joints sealing shall be done with the use of a neutral sealant suitable for stone and marble, such as MAPESIL LM from Mapei S.p.A.
The above mentioned technical information have to be considered as merely generic and they will always have to be evaluated according to the actual site and projects characteristics. For this reason it is also advisable to contact installing companies specialized in stone materials.
Instructions for the surface treatment of materials with Lether finish
The materials of the Woodstone Collection with a Lether finish are never supplied by Antolini with a surface treatment in order to allow the materials to be correctly laid.
Once laying is complete, you can apply products for treating the surface such as Fila StonePlus of the company Fila S.p.A. or MGP27 of the company Massimo Piraccini Treatment Sas. These products are made to tone and intensify the stone’s colours while providing good water-repellent protection.
Before applying these products which tone and intensify colours, we always recommend to make a test on a sample of the material.
For instructions on how to apply and handle these products, we recommend you directly contact the manufacturers, who will provide you with all the necessary recommendations.

Il trattamento si dovrà effettuare, a cura del cliente/posatore, dopo che il pavimento sarà posato e pulito.

INDICAZIONI PER LA CURA E LA MANUTENZIONE DELLE SUPERFICI IN PIETRA NATURALE
Un’attenta, continua e corretta pulizia è fondamentale per conservare a lungo nel tempo le caratteristiche estetiche delle superfici di pietra naturale come la lucentezza, la vivacità cromatica, la gradevolezza al tatto, ecc.
Mantenere pulita la pietra naturale è meno impegnativo (e meno costoso) di quanto si pensi, basta applicare con costanza alcune semplici regole.
1. Prodotti per la pulizia
Il prodotto più indicato è il sapone neutro (come il sapone di Marsiglia), che ha potere sgrassante e antibatterico, ravviva la lucentezza ed al contempo non aggredisce chimicamente la pietra naturale.
Sono consigliati anche i prodotti appositamente formulati per la pulizia delle superfici di pietra naturale, con l’accortezza di leggere attentamente le istruzioni per la compatibilità con le famiglie di pietra naturale (marmi, graniti, arenarie, pietre, ecc.) e l’eventuale rapporto di diluizione raccomandato dal produttore.
Assolutamente da evitare i prodotti chimici multiuso, che non sempre svolgono un’azione mirata e compatibile con la natura delle superfici di pietra naturale, così come i prodotti anticalcare ed antimacchia, che possono risultare eccessivamente aggressivi per marmi, travertini, onici ed altri litotipi, oppure i prodotti abrasivi, che opacizzano le superfici.
Si sconsigliano anche i prodotti senza risciacquo, poiché nel caso di superfici sporche gli eventuali residui del lavaggio conferiscono alle superfici un aspetto non solo sporco, ma anche opaco e trascurato.
2. Modalità di pulizia ordinaria
a. Asportare periodicamente la polvere ed evitare gli accumuli di sporcizia b. Lavare le superfici con acqua e con i detergenti indicati al punto 1.
c. Risciacquare abbondantemente con acqua pulita d. Asciugare
Evitare di impiegare il medesimo prodotto e panno di pulizia sia per sanitari, vetri, acquai, piani cottura, forni, ecc. sia per le superfici di pietra naturale.
Casi particolari:
MACCHIE CONCENTRATE:
1. Rimuovere immediatamente macchie e depositi di alimenti (olio, vino, aceto, caffè, cibo in genere) o altri prodotti (inchiostro, detergenti concentrati, cosmetici, ecc.) con un panno umido e risciacquare abbondantemente.
2. Nel caso di macchie persistenti anche dopo azione meccanica con spazzola morbida (es. spazzolino da denti), applicare un prodotto specifico appositamente formulato per la famiglia di pietra naturale.
PAVIMENTI AD ELEVATO TRAFFICO PEDONALE
Sono pavimenti soggetti a notevole accumulo di patine di sporco e a logorio per calpestio.
Per mantenerne la lucentezza e la gradevolezza estetica, si consigliano lavaggi quotidiani con acqua e detergente neutro (v. punto 1) e accurati risciacqui in modo da asportare tempestivamente il materiale particellare trasportato dalle suole dei pedoni in transito, materiale che oltre a sporcare può esercitare azione abrasiva sulla superficie, opacizzandola.
DIRECTIONS FOR THE CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF NATURAL STONE SURFACES
A thorough, correct and periodical cleaning is essential to conserve the aesthetic features of the natural stone surfaces over a long time, as well as the gloss, colour vivacity, pleasantness to the touch etc.
Keeping natural stone clean is less difficult (and less expensive) than you think. Simply apply a few rules consistently.
1. Cleaning products
The most recommended is neutral soap (such as a traditional soap), which has de-greasing and antibacterial qualities, revives the colour without chemically damaging the natural stone.
Products specifically designed for cleaning natural stone surfaces are also recommended however be sure to read the instructions carefully for compatibility with the types of natural stone (marble, granite, sandstones, stones etc.) and any applicable dilution recommended by the producer.
You must always avoid multi-use chemical products, which do not always perform in a selective and compatible way with the nature of the natural stone surfaces, just like anti-limescale and stain-removing products, which can have an eccessively aggressive effect on marble, travertine, onyx and other lythotipe surfaces, or abrasive products, which have a matt effect on the surfaces.
We also advise against using non-rinse detergents, as with dirty surfaces, any residue will make the surface look not only dirty but also matt and neglected.
2. Procedure for normal cleaning
a) Periodically remove the dust and avoid the accumulation of dirt;
b) Clean the surfaces with water and the detergents indicated in point 1;
c) Rinse freely with clean water;
d) Dry
Avoid using the same detergents or cloths for natural stone as those for cleaning bathroom fittings, glass, sinks, hobs, ovens, etc.
Special cases:
CONCENTRATED/STRONG STAINS
1. Use a damp cloth to immediately remove stains and any food (oil, wine, vinegar, coffee, food generally) or other products (ink, concentrated detergents, cosmetics etc.) and rinse thoroughly.
2. For persistent stains even after brushing with a soft brush (e.g. toothbrush), apply a product that is specifically designed for this type of natural stone.
HIGH FOOT-TRAFFIC FLOORS
These are floors subject to much wear and dirt build-up.
To maintain the sheen and aesthetics, we recommend washing the stone daily with water and a neutral detergent (see point 1). Then rinse thoroughly to immediately remove particles brought by shoe soles (these particles dirty the surface and cause a matt effect, through abrasion).
