SOMMARIO
Il presente lavoro di tesi , svolto in cooperazione con l’Università di Pisa e con l’Ufficio Energy Manager dell’università , ha avuto come obiettivo la valutazione della fattibilità di un impianto di trigenerazione presso la struttura del Polo Fibonacci . A partire dai dati di costo relativi all’energia elettrica e termica utilizzata sono state valutate le varie soluzioni tecniche disponibili per poter ottimizzare la spesa energetica complessiva . In base a vari parametri che sono stati fissati come parametri di progetto e stato scelto un sistema di trigenerazione composto da un motore a combustione interna funzionante a gas metano prodotto dall’austriaca Jenbacher ( J 208 GS-C02 ) e da un gruppo frigorifero ad assorbimento funzionante ad acqua calda prodotto dalla sud coreana
Century ( AR-D115L2 ) . E’ stata in seguito scelta una torre evaporativa ( Mita PMD
6/280 ) adeguata al gruppo frigorifero selezionato . Dopo la scelta dei tempi di
funzionamento previsti per l’impianto alla luce della normativa vigente , è stato effettuato un bilancio economico ( tenendo conto degli incentivi e delle defiscalizzazioni previste ) , per capire quanto fosse il risparmio dei consumi tra l’impianto attuale e l’impianto del progetto e per valutare la convenienza della nuova istallazione .

ABSTRACT
This degree thesis has been developed with cooperation of University of Pisa and Energy Manager office and its goals was the evaluation of practicability of a trigeneration system over the Polo Fibonacci building . Beginning from a collection of data about electrical and thermal energy costs , we have considered different available techniques in order to optimize the whole energetic charge . Analyzing various parameters , which afterwards have been arranged as plan parameters , we have chosen a trigeneration system . This system is composed by two parts : - the first part is an internal combustion engine that works with methane and is produced by the Austrian Jenbacher ( J 208 GS-C02 ) – the other one is an absorption chiller working with hot
water and produced by the south-korean Century ( AR-D115L2 ) . Later on , we have
chosen a cooling tower ( Mita PMD 6/280 ) , appropriate to the select chiller . Considering the normative low in force , we have selected the operating time and subsequently we have effected an economic balance , including possible incentives and un-exemptions . This has been calculated in order to understand which system permitted to same more consumption , either the system in use or the proposed one . Moreover , we wanted to assessed the advantage of the new installation .
