DDITIONAL INFORMATION Actually involved in many clinical studies on rheumatoid arthritis. He is member of the steering committee of the LORHEN Registry (Italian registry of RA patients treated with biological agents). He is conducting research on the usefulness of ultrasonography in rheumatoid arthritis, on the role of Synovial biopsy in the diagnosis of Rheumatoid arthritis, on the clinical relevance of autoantibody in the diagnosis and prognosis of rheumatoid arthritis. He is member of the Commission for the National guidelines for the use of biologics in the treatment of rheumatic diseases.

He is coauthor of more than 200 papers published in peer-reviewed journals
