Salon Owner Responsibilities

Hair salon owners have two essential jobs:
business management of the firm and the customers’ satisfaction. Serving customers, reviewing service standards and resolving
customers’ needs and complaints, directing salon workers, managing finances, are only a few of their responsibilities.
Hair salon owners usually work very hard: they are the first person to arrive at work in the morning and the latest to leave at night, they spend all the day in the salon. Their work is endless and includes evenings and weekends.
Their job is physically heavy but never boring.
Salon owners stand up for most of the workday, they are also exposed to hair chemicals,
which may cause temporary skin irritation or sometimes irreversible damages to the skin.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to establish relationship with customers play an important role for a profitable career.
