7. Conclusioni

L’incremento del numero di ONJ come segnalazioni avverse all’uso di farmaci quali i bisfosfonati, più di frequente, ma an-che di denosumab e anti-angiogenetici sottolinea la necessità, da parte della comunità medica e odontoiatrica, di conoscere i fattori e le categorie a rischio nella fase preventiva, oltre che l’algoritmo diagnostico e i protocolli di terapia.

Nel prossimo dossier gli autori forniranno una guida utile per la prevenzione dentale e la sicurezza dei trattamenti odontoia-trici nei pazienti oncologici o osteoporotici.
