Conclusioni generali

Gli studi effettuati con questo lavoro di ricerca hanno dimostrato che la

somministrazione orale di 10mg/Kg/die di glucorafanina non porta a significativi

effetti protettivi cardiovascolari, salvo forse una modesta (e non statisticamente

significativa) azione antiossidante. Tale inefficacia potrebbe riflettere un

insufficente conversione del glucosinolato in isotiocianato.

Studi futuri saranno destinati a valutare effetti di dosaggi più elevati del
