CAPITOLO 6: PROGETTO DELLA NUOVA RETE

6.1 Premessa

Dalle verifiche effettuate sull’attuale rete di canali nel capitolo precedente, si è visto che

questa non è in grado di funzionare con il rispetto delle caratteristiche (franchi e velocità)

che le competerebbero.

Per migliorare la situazione si è pensato alla risagomatura dei canali già presenti, scartando

l’ipotesi della realizzazione di nuovi, in quanto l’attuale geometria è già ben definita e

funzionante da molti anni.

Questo comporta un aumento dell’area del canale e quindi consente all’acqua di defluire

con livelli più bassi permettendo il rispetto dei franchi e delle velocità massime.

Nei successivi paragrafi verrà illustrato in modo dettagliato il metodo adottato per calcolare

le nuove sezioni da assegnare ai fossi e verrà effettuata la verifica per la portata

venticinquennale e quella centennale (a franco nullo) sulla nuova rete.

6.2 Risagomatura dei canali

Le nuove sezioni da assegnare ai canali della bonifica sono state ricavate per tentativi,

controllando di volta in volta che venissero rispettati i franchi e le velocità massime.

Le pendenze delle sponde cercano di ricalcare il più possibile la situazione esistente, che

essendo in attività ormai da diversi anni non ha mai creato problemi di stabilità. Per la

maggior parte dei fossi si è quindi adottata la pendenza 1:1.

La pendenza di fondo dei nuovi canali è rimasta invariata rispetto all’esistente, sebbene in

alcuni casi vi siano degli abbassamenti di poche decine di centimetri, cercando di dare

un’inclinazione costante a tutto il tratto.

In Figura 1 è riportato un esempio di sezione allo stato attuale (rosso) e allo stato modificato

(verde).

La Tavola 3 contiene alcune delle più importanti sezioni della rete.

6.2.1 Calcolo scavi e riporti

La Tabella 1 restituisce i calcoli degli scavi e dei riporti del terreno dovuti alla risagomatura

della rete. Il volume trovato è quello ottenuto dalla media delle aree di scavo o di riporto tra

due sezioni consecutive, moltiplicata per la loro distanza.

È da evidenziare che vi sono canali che sono rimasti con la geometria esistente. I volumi di

questi ovviamente saranno quindi nulli.

6.3 Verifica della rete per t

= 25 anni

Le tabelle che verranno riportate in seguito, evidenziano la situazione per il tempo di ritorno

di 25 anni e per diverse durate. In particolare come si può vedere dai risultati del Capitolo 3,

si è posta l’attenzione sulle durate critiche di pioggia, cioè quelle che danno luogo alle

portate più elevate. Si sono quindi riportati i risultati per le durate di 2, 3 e 4 ore.

Le tabelle riportano le seguenti caratteristiche:

River: è il nome del canale.

Reach: è il numero del tratto in esame.

River Station: è il numero della sezione in esame.

Profile: indica il caso analizzato.

Q Total: è la portata nella sezione in m

/s.

Min. Ch. El. : è la quota più bassa della sezione in m.

W.S. Elev. : è la quota del pelo libero in m.

E.G. Elev.: è la quota della linea dell’energia in m.

E.G. Slope: è la pendenza della linea dell’energia in m/m.

Vel. Chnl: è la velocità nel canale in m/s.

Flow Area: è l’area in m

6.4 Verifica della rete per t

Si procede adesso alla verifica per il tempo di ritorno centennale: il franco deve risultare

nullo. Le tabelle che verranno riportate in seguito, evidenziano la situazione per diverse

durate. In particolare come si può vedere dai risultati del Capitolo 4 si è posta, anche in

questo caso, l’attenzione sulle durate critiche di pioggia, cioè quelle che danno luogo alle

portate più elevate. Si sono quindi riportati i risultati per le durate di 2, 3 e 4 ore.

I campi della tabella hanno il solito significato già descritto in precedenza.

Per questa verifica si è trascurato il controllo della velocità massima, poiché l’evento ha un

tempo di ritorno piuttosto elevato e serve solo per controllare l’esondazione.
