alutato dalla critica tedesca come uno dei più profondi e creativi interpreti della sua generazione “Abbiamo sentito Schubert venirci così vicino da toglierci il respiro“ ha scritto la Westfälische Rundschau, dopo la sua vittoria al Concorso pianistico Schubert di Dortmund nel 1989, Filippo Faes è stato invitato per sette anni consecutivi come soli- sta con orchestra alla Philharmonie di Colonia e alla Musikhalle di Am- burgo, registrando ogni volta il tutto esaurito. Simile accoglienza hanno avuto il debutto alla Filarmonica di Berlino, al Gasteig di Monaco, al Concertgebouw di Amsterdam, agli “International recitals“ della BBC di Londra. Da allora ha suonato nei cinque continenti, da solo o assieme ai più quotati solisti e orchestre, e ha al suo attivo una vasta produzione discografica. Come direttore, accanto al repertorio classico si dedica con passione alla difusione della musica contemporanea, e ha presen- tato in prima assoluta varie opere di compositori italiani. Filippo Faes è stato riconosciuto specialista di Schubert: si è dedicato particolarmen- te all’interpretazione delle opere del compositore e ha partecipato a numerose Schubertiadi (come il Schwetzinger Festspiele del 1997 con Elisabeth Leonskaja, il Prazak Quartet e Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau).Autore di vari programmi televisivi sulla musica, ha diretto progetti che introducono il pubblico alla tremenda potenza comunicativa che secon- do Faes la musica possiede insieme alla capacità di trasformare il mon- do. Ulteriore sviluppo di queste convinzioni, Between Heaven and Earth (2013), pubblicato in tutto il mondo, ofre la possibilità di associare l’a- scolto di alcune opere per pianoforte di Schubert ad alcuni commentari in cinque lingue in cui Faes analizza il contesto storico del compositore comparandolo al nostro. Questo filone di progetti viene sviluppato da Faes sulla scia del concetto da lui elaborato di “Slow music”: ispira- to dalla contrapposizione fra fast e slow food, si tratta di un approccio lento e meditato alla musica. Filippo Faes è professore di musica da camera, pianoforte e interpretazione Lied al Conservatorio Stefani di Castelfranco Veneto. Viene chiamato come professore anche in diverse master class in Europa, negli USA, in Sud America, Nuova Zelanda e Singapore.

ailed by German critics as one of the most profound and creative performers of his generation. “We felt Schubert come so close that it took our breath away,” wrote the Westfälische Rundschau, after his victory in the Schubert Piano Competition competition in Dortmund in 1989, Filippo Faes was invited for seven consecutive years as soloist with orchestra at the Philharmonie in Cologne and the Musikhalle in Hamburg. each performance sold out. The debuts at the Berlin Philhar- monic, the Gasteig in Munich Berlin, at the Gasteig in Munich, at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, at the “International recitals” of the BBC in London. Since then he has played on five continents, alone or toge- ther with the most quoted soloists and orchestras, and has orchestras, and has to his credit a vast discographic production. As a conductor, he devotes himself both to the classical repertoire and to contemporary music. Filippo Faes has been a recognized Schubert specialist: he has dedicated himself particularly to the interpretation of the composer’s works and has participated in numerous Schubertiadi (such as the Schwetzinger Festspiele in 1997 with Elisabeth Leonskaja, the Prazak Quartet and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau). The author of several television programs on music, he has directed projects that introduce audiences to the tremendous communicative power that Faes believes music pos- sesses along with the ability to transform the world. A further deve- lopment of these beliefs, Between Heaven and Earth (2013), published worldwide, offers the possibility of associating the listening of some of Schubert’s piano works with some commentaries in five languages in which Faes analyzes the historical context of the composer comparing it to ours. This line of projects is developed by Faes in the wake of his con- cept of “slow music”: a slow and thoughtful approach to music. Filippo Faes is professor of chamber music, piano and Lied interpretation at the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto. hristian Altenburger ha studiato all’Università della Musica di Vien- na, sua città natale, e con Dorothy DeLay alla Juilliard School di New York. A 19 anni ha debuttato come solista al Musikverein di Vienna a cui sono seguiti impegni con le migliori orchestre internazionali come la Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Concertge- bouworchester Amsterdam, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra e la Vienna Symphonic Orchestra con Claudio Abbado, Dennis Russel Davies, Chri- stoph von Dohnányi, Bernard Haitink, James Levine, Lorin Maazel, Zu- bin Mehta, Václáv Neumann, Dennis Russell Davies, Wolfgang Sawal- lisch, Franz Welser- Möst e altri. Oltre alle sue apparizioni come solista, la musica da camera è diventata un aspetto importante del suo lavoro artistico. In addition to his appearances as a soloist, chamber music has become an important aspect of his artistic work. For many years, Christian Altenburger held a professorship at the Han- nover University of Music. In 2001, he was appointed a professorship at the Vienna University of Music.

ata a Rovereto (TN), ha studiato a Trento e alla scuola del Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, vincendo nel 1959 il Concorso “Voci Nuove”dello Sperimentale di Spoleto. Ha debuttato al Festival dei Due Mondi in La Bohème, sotto la direzione di Thomas Schippers, regia di Gian- carlo Menotti. Oltre al repertorio pucciniano, ha eseguito anche quello francese, slavo e russo (Bizet, Charpentier, Massenet, Tchaikovsky, Janácek, Musorgskij) ed è stata fine interprete del Settecento italia- no, da Traetta a Paisiello, oltre che del Novecento, in opere di Barber, Pizzetti, Poulenc e Rota. Ha curato la musica da concerto antica e mo- derna e l’oratorio. Nel corso dell’anno perosiano, ha inaugurato la Sala Nervi in Vaticano con il “Natale del Redentore” alla presenza di Papa Paolo VI. È stata invitata nei più importanti teatri del mondo: Scala di Milano, Arena di Verona, Teatro Comunale di Firenze, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, San Carlo di Napoli, Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, Staatsoper Amburgo, Staatsoper Vienna, Staatsoper Monaco di Baviera, Operà di Parigi, Chicago Lyrics Center Opera, Festival Musicale Primavera di Praga, Covent Garden di Londra, Metropolitan di New York, Concert Ge- bouw di Amsterdam, Teatro Colon di Buenos Aires, Opera House di Sid- ney, Bunka Kaikan di Tokyo, etc. Ha cantato con Riccardo Muti, Zubin Metha, Efrem Kurtz, Giannandrea Gavazzeni, Yuri Ahronovitch, Tullio Serafin, Thomas Schippers, Herbert Von Karajan e George Prêtre, men- tre tra i partners più celebri si ricordano Giuseppe Di Stefano, Mario Del Monaco, Richard Tucker, Gianni Raimondi, Luciano Pavarotti, Al- fredo Krauss, Veriano Luchetti e Josè Carreras. Per 5 anni ha insegnato allo Sperimentale di Spoleto ed è presente nelle giurie di vari concorsi sia nazionali che internazionali. Premio Puccini 1999. Membro dell’Ac- cademia degli Agiati, è anche direttore artistico del Concorso Interna- zionale per Giovani Cantanti Lirici “Riccardo Zandonai”.
Nel 2010 è stata invitata dal Prof. Beniamino Quintieri, Commissario Generale del Governo per l’esposizione Universale di Shanghai 2010

She has also been a virtuoso interpreter of Italian 18th century music, from Traetta to Paisiello, as well as 20th century works, by Rota, Pizzetti, Poulenc and Barber. She has also performed ancient and modern concert pieces as well as ora- torios. In “Perosiano Year” she took part in the inauguration of the Sala Nervi in the Vatican with “Il Natale del Redentore” in the presence of the Pope Paolo VI. aolo Taballione nasce a Roma nel 1981. Dopo essersi diplomato al Conserva- torio “S. Cecilia” in Roma col massimo dei voti e la lode nel 2001, si perfezio- na in Svizzera al “Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Genève” nella classe del M° J. Zoon, dove ottiene il “Diplôme de Soliste avec Distinction” all’unanimitá nel 2007. All’ intensa attività flautistica, affianca dal 1998 lo studio del pianofor- te, dell´armonia e della Composizione, disciplina in cui si diploma con il massimo dei voti al Conservatorio “S. Cecilia” in Roma nel 2008. ll suo vasto repertorio che spazia dalla musica barocca a quella contemporanea, lo porta ad essere vincito- re sin da giovanissimo di numerosi concorsi solistici nazionali ed internazionali, tra cui il Primo Premio al prestigioso Concorso Internazionale per la Musica del XX e XXI secolo per Flauto ed Ottavino “V.Bucchi” nel 2004 ed il Primo Premio all’Unanimità al Concorso Solistico Internazionale “D. Cimarosa” con M. Larrieu pre- sidente di giuria, nel 2005. Nel 2004 viene scelto dal M° R. Invitato come Primo Flauto da alcune delle piú importanti orchestre europee come l’ Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala di Milano, Orchestra dell´Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Münchner Philarmoniker, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, NDR Sinfonieorche- ster Hamburg, Zürich Opernhaus Orchester, Dresden Philarmonie, si esibisce sotto la direzione di prestigiose bacchette come L. Maazel, Z. Mehta, R. Muti, K. Nagano, S. Ozawa,Y. Temirkanov, D. Harding, K. Petrenko e collabora con i solisti piú impor- tanti del panorama internazionale. aolo Taballione was born in Rome in 1981. After graduating from the Santa Ce- cilia Conservatory in Rome with the highest honours in 2001, he studied in Switzerland at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique de Genève in the class of J. Zoon, where he obtained the “Diplôme de Solist” with unanimous approval in 2007. In addition to his flute, he began studying piano and composition in 1998, a discipline in which he graduated with honours at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in 2008. His repertoire, ranging from Baroque to Contemporary music, led him to be a very young winner of numerous national and international solo competitions, including First Prize at the “V.Bucchi” International Competition for Music of the XX and XXI century for flute and piccolo in 2004 and First Prize by unanimous vote at the “D. Cimarosa” International Solo Competition with jury president M. Larrieu, in 2005. In 2004 he was chosen by M° Riccardo Muti as Principal Flute of the “L.Cherubini” Youth Symphony Orchestra made up of the best young talent in Italy and in 2005, under the direction of R. Muti, he began his career as soloist in the Cathedral of Trani in a concert in honour of the FAO, which met with great critical acclaim: “Paolo Taballione, admirable flutist!” (Il Giornale). From there onwards his intense activity as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician led him to per- form successfully in the most important concert hall in Europe, including the Mu- sikverein in Vienna, Gasteig in Munich, the Festspielhaus in Salzburg, the Berlin Philharmonie, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Auditorium Parco della musica in Rome, Beethovensaal Stuttgart, Konzertsaal del KKL in Lucerne, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, playing as a soloist with orchestras such as the Bavarian State Orchestra, Bach Collegium München, Orchestra Reino de Aragón, Georgian Sinfonietta and others. He has also recordes as a soloist for the most important Radio in Germany and Italy, including the Bayerischer Rundfunk and the Radio Rai Filodiffusione.
From 2006 to 2008 he served as principal flute in the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra conducted by Z. Mehta and in 2008 he became the Principal flute of the
“Bayerische Staatsoper” in Munich. Invited as Principal Flute by some of the most important European orchestras such as the Philharmonic Orchestra of La Scala in Milan, Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia, Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, NDR Sinfonieorchester Hamburg, Zurich Opera House Orchestra, Dresden Philharmonic, he performs under the direction of conductors such as L. Maazel, Z. Mehta, R. Muti, K. Nagano, S. Ozawa, Y. Temirka- nov, D. Harding, K. Petrenko and the most important soloists on the international scene. incitore del Primo Premio del Concorso di Ginevra (2018), Kevin Pe- dro Spagnolo (1996) è uno dei più giovani e talentuosi artisti della sua generazione. Vincitore di molti altri concorsi nazionali ed interna- zionali, tra cui il Concours Internationale de Clarinette Jacques Lance- lot et Ghent International Clarinet Competition, Kevin si esibisce in tut- ta Europa. Kevin inizia a studiare clarinetto a otto anni al Conservatorio di Lucca e si diploma nella classe di Remo Pieri con il massimo dei voti e menzione d’onore. Si perfeziona con Carlo Failli e Fabrizio Meloni.Poi, con Romain Guyot, studia al Conservatorio di Ginevra, dove com- pleta anche il Master Solist nel 2019 e vince l’audizione come Primo Clarinetto della Swedish Chamber Orchestra. Si è esibito da solista, anche in tournée, con Orchestra de Aguascalientes con Roman Revuel- tas, Orchestre de Chambre de Genève, Orchestre des Nations, Bruxel- les Philharmonic, Orchestra del Teatro Mariinsky, Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Orchestre de Chambre de l’HEM. inner of the First Prize of the Geneva Competition (2018), Kevin Pedro Spagnolo (1996) is one of the youngest and most talented artists of his generation. Winner of many other national and internatio- nal competitions, including the Concours Internationale de Clarinette Jacques Lancelot et Ghent International Clarinet Competition, Kevin performs all over Europe. Kevin began studying clarinet at the age of eight at the Conservatory of Lucca and graduated in Remo Pieri’s class with top marks and honorable mention. He improves with Carlo Failli and Fabrizio Meloni. Then, with Romain Guyot, he studied at the Ge- neva Conservatory, where he also completed the Master Solist in 2019 and won the audition as First Clarinet of the Swedish Chamber Orche- stra. He has performed as a soloist, including on tour, with Orchestra de Aguascalientes with Roman Revueltas, Orchestre de Chambre de Genève, Orchestre des Nations, Bruxelles Philharmonic, Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Orchestre de Chambre de l’HEM. ergei Nakariakov, the israeli-russian trumpet player, has established himself as one of the most sought-after trumpet players on the in- ternational stage. Gifted with a rare combination of stunning virtuosity, a suave and velvet-toned sound and a deep sensitivity he was named“The Paganini of the trumpet” and “Caruso of the trumpet”. Nakaria- kov has single-handedly brought the flugelhorn to prominence on the concert platform. He has developed long-standing relationships with many of the world’s most respected leading orchestras, conductors and musicians. Nakariakov’s repertoire covers not only the entire range of original literature for trumpet, but is continually expanding into broader territories, comprising many fascinating transcriptions and commissions by Peter Ruzicka, Uri Brener, Enjott Schneider and Jörg Widmann, while he searches for ever new means of musical expression. ato a Roma nel 1953, si è diplomato nel 1983 presso il Conservatorio di San- ta Cecilia in Composizione. Dal 1985 ad oggi ha insegnato al Conservatorio“Alfredo Casella”di L’Aquila “Teoria dell’armonia e analisi”. Negl’ultimi 7 anni ha tenuto il biennio di “Composizione Musicale applicata alle immagini” e altri corsi. Compositore, formatosi alla Scuola del Maestro Domenico Guaccero, ha concentrato la sua attività nel campo della composizione concertistica tradi- zionale e in quello della musica applicata, con particolare attenzione al rap- porto con l’immagine. Ha composto per le più svariate formazioni orchestrali e sue composizioni quali “Iride”, “Il Drago”, “La pazzia di Lear”, sono state eseguite in importanti teatri americani quali il S. Guggheneim di New York e il C. Colombo di Buenos Aires. Suoi lavori di Musica Contemporanea d’Arte sono stati eseguiti, oltre che in Italia e nei già citati Stati Uniti ed Argentina, anche in Francia, Germania, Spagna, Russia, Inghilterra, Canada, Grecia, Bulgaria, Norvegia, Turchia, Finlandia, Cuba, Cina e Australia. Tra le sue composizioni di rilievo le “Sinfonie specchianti”, opere eseguite in contemporanea in quattro città europee (la n.2 del 1995 e la n.3 del 1998) da altrettanti gruppi orchestrali sfruttando un sincronismo tecnologico che era in quegli anni all’avanguardia.
È stato candidato per tre volte al CIAK d’oro, due volte alla Grolla d’oro, due volte al Globo d’oro e tre al Premio David di Donatello. Ha vinto il “Premio Carlo Savina” per l’eccellenza alla musica conferito dal Festival del Cinema di Spel- lo ed i Borghi Umbri. E’ stato Vincitore del “Globo d’oro della Stampa Estera”

Ha rice- vuto il Premio “Ennio Morricone”, nell’ambito di Bari International Film Festival 2013 per la miglior colonna sonora per il film Bella addormentata. Ha ottenuto il Premio “Roma Videoclip-il cinema incontra la musica” Ha ricevuto dal Mae- stro Ennio Morricone il Premio “Goffredo Petrassi” da parte dell’Associazione Culturale Goffredo Petrassi, nell’evento tenuto presso l’Auditorium Parco della Musica. In the last 7 years he has taught the two-year course of “Musical Composition applied to Images” and other courses at the Conserva- tory “Alfredo Casella” in L’Aquila. Composer, trained at the School of Maestro Domenico Guaccero, he has concentrated his activity in the field of traditional concert composition and in that of applied music. He has composed for the most varied orchestral formations and his compositions such as “Iride”, “Il Drago”,“La pazzia di Lear”, have been performed in important American theatres such as the S. Guggenheim in New York and the C. Colombo in Buenos Aires. His works of Contemporary Art Music have been performed not only in Italy, the United Sta- tes and Argentina, but also in France, Germany, Spain, Russia, England, Canada, Greece, Bulgaria, Norway, Turkey, Finland, Cuba, China and Australia. Compose the soundtrack of a short video provided by Religion Today Film Fe- stival.
The orchestration of the soundtrack to be produced by each student will be car- ried out using virtual instruments, under the direction and active supervision of the teacher Carlo Crivelli. It is recommended the use of the programme “Note Performer” (this is not compulsory)
At the end of the 2 phases of the masterclass, each student will be given the professionally done work.

ato nel 1966 a Essen (Germania), dal 1984 al 1986 ha studiato composizione e teoria musicale con il Prof. Gerhard Lisken e pianoforte con Heidi Komme- rell. Nel 1986 ha vinto il primo premio al “Forum of Young German Composers”.Nel 1988 ha iniziato gli studi di composizione sotto la guida del Prof. Nicolaus A. Huber e composizione elettronica sotto la guida di Dirk Reith alla Folkwang University di Essen, dove ha superato gli esami finali di composizione nel 1994.
Nel 1990 ha ricevuto il primo premio nel concorso di composizione della Coope- rativa Neue Musik e il Premio Felix Mendelsohn Bartholdy per il quartetto d’archi
“Nächte zwischen den Gezeiten”. Nel 1991 ha vinto il primi premio nel Concorso Nazionale delle Accademie musicali tedesche con “Ambito” per corno e nel 1993 ha ricevuto il Premio della Folkwang University. Fino al 1996 Achim Bornhoeft ha lavorato con i coreografi Olimpia Scardi (“Cabotina”), Stefan Hilterhaus (“Floot”,
“Invar”) e Wanda Golonka (“Gegnung”). Le loro produzioni sono apparse in vari teatri in Germania e in altri paesi europei. Dopo il diploma di Composizione ha ricevuto la borsa di studio DAAD per studiare al CCRMA (Computer Center for Research in Music and Acoustics) presso la Stanford University. Tra il 1996 e il 2005 ha insegnato presso la Folkwang Academy e le Università di Duisburg e Tubinga. Dal 2006 ha diretto lo Studio di Musica Elettronica (SEM) del Mozarteum di Salisburgo, dove è stato abilitato per l’insegnamento della composizione nel 2012. chim Christian Bornhoeft was born on 3 November 1966 in Essen, Germany.From 1984 to 1986 he studied composition and music theory with Prof.
Gerhard Lisken and piano with Heidi Kommerell. In 1986 he finished school and won the 1st prize at the “Forum of Young German Composers”. 1988 he began to study instrumental composition under Prof. Nicolaus A. Huber and electronic composition under Prof. Dirk Reith at the Folkwang University in Essen, Germany where he passed his Finals in composition in 1994. In 1990 he received first prize in a composition competition run by the Cooperativa Neue Musik and the Felix Mendelsohn Bartholdy Award for his string quartet “Nächte zwischen den Ge- zeiten”. 1991 he won the first prize in the National Competition of German Music Academies with “Ambito” for french horn and in 1993 he received the Folkwang University Prize. Until 1996 Achim Bornhoeft worked with the choreographers Olimpia Scardi (“Cabotina”), Stefan Hilterhaus (“Floot”, “invar”) and Wanda Go- lonka (“Gegnung”). Their productions appeared at various theaters in Germany and other European countries. After graduating in composition he received a DAAD scholarship for the Computer Center for Research in Music and Acou- stics (CCRMA) at Stanford University. Between 1996 and 2005 Achim Bornhoeft has been a lecturer at the Folkwang Academy and the Universities of Duisburg and Tuebingen. 1998 he received the one-year composers scholarship from the Heinrich-Strobel-Stiftung and produced several full-length choreographies (“Lu- men B”, “Ellis Is.” “Thin as pain”) with his own company. From 2005 to 2006 worked at the Institute of Musicology at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and assumed the project management for “Jugend Komponiert” in 2007, a workshop for young composers organized by the Landesmusikrat Baden- Wuerttemberg. Since 2006 he has directed the Studio for Electronic Music (SEM) at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, where he was habilitated in composition in 2012.
Teaching assignments lead him to the universities in Riga, Parma, Lisbon, Sala- manca and Seoul. 2015 he was appointed professor and head of the Institute for New Music (INM).

Le quote di frequenza dovranno essere saldate prima dell’i- nizio delle lezioni. E’ ammessa l’iscrizione a più corsi contempo- raneamente, nel qual caso la quota di frequenza per il secondo e i successivi corsi sarà ridotta del 25%.5.
Tutti i partecipanti ai corsi di perfezionamento usufruiranno di copertura assicurativa infortuni, stipulata con primaria compagnia di assicurazioni, per l’intero periodo dei corsi.6.
A tutti gli allievi verrà fornito un badge per l’accesso a tutti i corsi in qualità di uditori e a tutti i concerti organizzati nell’ambito di musicaRivafestival 2022 e ai seminari correlati al Workshop di Composizione e musica elettroacustica..7.

SELECTIONParticipants to the masterclasses are divided into two categories:
Active and Listener. The number of the participants is at the di- scretion of the teacher and, if necessary, a selection will be held.
Those who are not accepted as active participants can attend as listeners.

ENROLMENT FEEPiano and chamber music, violin, singing, flute, clarinet, trumpet, composing: music for film,
workshop: composing and elettroacustic music: € 65,00 The enrolment fee is payable once only, irrespective of the number of courses attended. The enrolment fee will not be refunded if the participant withdraws. Refunds will be made only if the course is cancelled by the organizers.
Please expect confirmation of the actual start of the masterclasses by July 12, 2022.

All participants are asked to pay the course fee at the regi- stration before the beginning of the course. Those students who attend more than one class will get 25% discount on second and subsequent courses.5.
Accident insurance is provided for all the masterclasses parti- cipants throughout the whole period of the Festival.6.
All the masterclasses participants will receive a badge to at- tend the courses as listeners and as free entry to all the concerts during musicaRivafestival 2022. Free admission also to seminars related to the Electroacoustic Music Workshop.7.
