massimo e a mettersi alla prova. Il periodo storico in cui viviamo però ha portato a ridefinire e reinterpretare l’idea convenzionale di meeting congressuale, trasformandolo in un evento diverso, più aperto e più

innovativo.

Esattamente come la chirurgia. E quindi: Be different. Be surgeon.

Siamo attualmente protagonisti di uno scenario in continua evoluzione in ambito chirurgico: il divenire esponenziale dei progressi tecnici e tecnologici che richiedono un background dedicato; l’espansione del potenziale curativo dei trattamenti disponibili per i pazienti che richiede la creazione di figure professionali con una competenza specifica; la simultanea necessità di mantenere un profilo adeguato di sicurezza per i pazienti, ottimizzando gli outcomes clinici e lavorando nei team multidisciplinari.

D’altra parte, viviamo nell’era della demistificazione della figura medica e della perdita di modelli di ruolo, contemporanea alla crisi, per cause multifattoriali, delle vocazioni chirurgiche e alla persistente necessità di adeguare e rendere performante il sistema di training.

Questo panorama - declinato nell’intera gamma di sfumature di colore - verrà affrontato in una prospettiva scientifica ma critica e diventerà lo scenario per i protagonisti, i giovani chirurghi. Il Responsabile Scientifico, professor Luca Aldrighetti e il Presidente Onorario, professor Riccardo Rosati si sono da sempre dedicati al tema della formazione e delle nuove tecnologie, connubio essenziale per consentire ai giovani di seguire le proprie aspirazioni professionali, creare un’esperienza tecnica e un background scientifico solido e quindi superare le complessità di una professione poliedrica.
