The purpose is to show the dimensioning of solar power system, connected with power saving battery. The monitoring system enable monitoring and comparison between produced/consumed energy, based on hourly database of produced and consumed power.

Pohorje is one of the most natural areas in Slovenia and in central Europe. As the only silicate based mountain region in Slovenia, it is important from the

geomorphological, hydrological, biological and from cultural point of view. The purpose is to present the importance of forests in relationship with climate changes.

Rare plant and animal species in combination with tourism is nowadays the most important challenge for Maribor and its surroundings.

5 Prof. Lučka Kajfež Bogataj is a university professor,

climatologist, member of the United Nation's

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), co- winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and ambassador of COMPOSE project. In Slovenia she is noun as one of the pioneers in the field of climate changes research and their impacts on agriculture production.

Sergio Andreis is a director of lobbying organization Kyoto club with the headquarter in Rome. After studying at the faculties of philosophy in California and in Milan, he upgraded his skills in Berlin. As a member of European Greens he was elected to the Lombardy Regional Parliament, Italian federal parliament and later to the European Parliament. Kyoto club cooperates in numerous of environmental initiatives and international working groups, including acceptation of Kyoto protocol and endorsing the goals of Paris agreement.

Dr. Photoula Hadjipapa is the mayor of Municipality Lakatamia on southern part of Cyprus. She is a first female mayor in Cyprus, who was elected with majority comprised to two men anti-candidates. She has worked as a medicine doctor for 18 years. Among others she is leading projects related to environment and climate changes in Municipality of Lakatamia.

Dr. Ivan Žagar is the mayor of Municipality Slovenska Bistrica.

In past period he was a minister for Local government and regional policy. He leads the Slovenian delegation to the Committee of the regions and is a member of the board of the EU Committee of the Regions. Invited by European Commission, he has drowned up several expert opinions.

Since 2013 he has chaired the Development Council of the Cohesion Region for Eastern Slovenia and is actively involved in preparation and adoption of strategic EU documents.

6 Zoran Kordić is the co- founder and a member of Green

energy cooperative (GEC), established in 2013. The aim of the GEC is to provide service for development, investing and using of renewable energy sources. In cooperation with municipality Križevci, GEC started to implement joint-venture investments in renewable energy sources, called »solar roofs of Križevci« to set milestones in the field of investments to renewable sources in Croatia.

Marie Maud Gerard is the energy advisor at the GERES. Since 12 years, she has been working in the field of environmental engineering and the problem of energy poverty in the French province Alpes Cote'd Azur. She worked in many national and international projects in southern France and in the

Mediterranean regions, especially in Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria.

Dr. Stane Klemenčič is a director of the Chamber of

agriculture and forestry of Slovenia- Institution of agriculture and forestry Maribor. He holds a PhD in agricultural science.

Through his many years of work in the field of agricultural advising, he has collaborating and contributed to the development of Slovenian agriculture and rural areas.

Prof. Fatbardh Sallaku is a lecturer at the Agricultural University in Tirana, where he works in department for environment and agroecology. His research tackles fields of water, soils and environment as well as renewable energy sources. He collaborates in many national and international projects and by implementing of EU policies in EU associated states.

Prof. Theocaris Tsoutsos is a head of Renewable and Sustainable Energy Systems Lab (ReSEL) and is a university professor at the Technical University Crete (TUC). As a

scientist is an author and co- author of numerous of research publications. He works in many international projects in the field of renewable energies

7 Virginia Domingo Reig works in energy and environmental service by the city council of Granollers in Catalonia. She graduated environmental engineering and innovation management. She is involved in many international projects, where she works as an advisor, implementing awareness rising campaigns as well as the practical implementation of RES and EE measures.

Dr. Barbara Leao de Cervalho is a director of Natura park Biovilla in Portugal. In the frame of COMPOSE, they bought some equipment and established a living lab. The pilot living lab uses solar energy for drying food, cooking and producing electricity. She managed to established the Biovilla brand and cares for its promotion and marketing.

Zdravko Kozinc is a COMPOSE project co-worker, co- founder of ISKRIVA institute. Political economist, a sincere interviewee, who excels all possible situations: especially in managing international projects, coordinating project teams and communicating with the public.
