INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
Giustino Fortunato Online University (Benevento, Italy), CNR- ISMed (Italy), La Gran Colombia University (Colombia) and International Institute for Linguistic Mediators of Benevento (Italy) want to stimulate a debate on sustainability, not only from the environmental point of view, but also in relation to different fields, including the legal, ethical, economic, social, psychological, pedagogical, and cultural domain.
Sustainability is now fundamental in terms of growth and quality of life of all citizens:
sustainability is a general guideline for behaviour, and it can be adjusted to different contexts and interests.
It is within this context that the call for papers on "Sustainability Perspectives: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" has been launched.
The aim of this call for papers is to stimulate reflection on possible alternative scenarios and sustainable solutions in order to design an adaptive and resilient future for the planet and for Europe in particular.
The topics to be covered may concern any University field (law, economics, engineering, medicine, computer science, psychology, sociology, etc.), including:
- Financial sustainability - Corporate sustainability - Environmental protection - Corporate social responsibility - Climate change
- Energy and development issues - Economic sustainability
- New perspectives for psychological interventions - Psychological fallout
- New sustainable technologies - Resilience and sustainability
- Regulatory intervention and sustainability
In any case, this call for papers is open to further issues related to Sustainability.
Those who intend to participate in one of the sessions of the conference will have to send, by e-mail, an abstract, in English( not exceeding 1.000 words), containing a brief summary of the topic that will be discussed in the paper. The deadline for abstract submission, to be sent via email to call2021@unifortunato.eu, is 10 October 2021.
The Scientific Committee assesses the proposals received and communicates results by 20 October 2021.
If the abstract is accepted, authors must confirm their participation to the conference by e- mail,call2021@unifortunato.eu, by 5 November 2021.
The international conference will take place in Benevento, at the venue of the Online University Giustino Fortunato, on 13 and 14 December 2021.
It is also possible to participate via online streaming or by sending a recorded intervention. The discussion during the conference may take place in English, Italian, French or Spanish.
In case new COVID-19 regulations would not allow the conference to take place in this venue, the conference will be held exclusively online and it will be possible to participate either via online streaming or by sending a recorded intervention, which will be available on the event-dedicated page.
PUBLICATION
Papers for publication, written in English and not exceeding 7,000 words (bibliography included), must be sent to call2021@unifortunato.euby 15 January 2022.
The papers, in English, will be published in a collective volume, with ISBN, with an international publisher, by the University Giustino Fortunato, with anonymous peer review of each contribution.
OTHER INFORMATION
Travel and accommodation costs will be borne by the participants. In exceptional circumstances, the Scientific Committee may propose to cover these costs.
