Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is the study and analysis of a specic industrial drying system for the production of tissue paper using the software Matlab.

First, equations which govern the operation of various parts of the system are introduced. After that, the algoritmic solution of the system is dened paying particular attention to the logical solution without concentrating on the syntax of the code. In the last part, after having reported the results of various simulations, the performance of the drying plant is analysed.
