PREMESSA

11 PAC 29 ECO é un condizionatore molto versatile perché puö funzionare sia con condensazione ad acqua che con condensazione ad aria.

L'Utente puö scegliere il modo di funzionamento:

l) AD ACQUA - Se desidera un'alta efficienza, consumi inferiori, rapiditä nel raggiungére le condizioni di benessere. Si consiglia questo tipo di funzionamento all'inizio quando l'ambiente é particolarmente caldo.

2) AD ARIA - Se vuole un raffrescamento meno intenso, un "funzionamento" piü comodo (non é necessario riempire la tanica).

La versatilitä dell'apparecchio é tale che, in ogni caso quando termina la riserva d'acqua (tanica), si commuta automaticamente nella funzione ad aria.

INSTALLAZIONE PER CONDIZIONAMENTO

11 nostro condizionatore é mobile e versatile: puö essere utilizzato con un' installazione definitiva o venir spostato agevolmente da un locale all'al-

tro.Nel caso di installazione'definitiva l'aria che viene espulsa dal tubo posteriore é completamente aspirata

dal locale in cui é installato il condizionatore. ,

Verificare che il locale (se é particolarmente piccolo) non risulti "stagno": l'effetto di depressione, infatti, causando anomalie di funzionamento, potrebbe far intervenire l'interruttore di sicurezza.

L'aerazione naturale consentita dalle fessure di porte e finestre é generalmente sufficiente,

Eventualmente lasciare una porta leggermente socchiusa (una fessura di circa 1 cm puö bastare).

Puö anche essere utilizzato con una installazione

"volante" che ne consente l'uso in qualsiasi am- biente non attrezzato purché dotato di una fine- stra o portafinestra; il sistema "volante" Vi con- sente di utilizzare subito il condizionatore fino a quando non verrä allestita la sistemazione defini- tiva.

N.B.: In ogni caso controllare che il condizionato- re sia posizionato su un pavimento "in piano".

Inserire eventualmente i 2 fermaruote sotto le ruote anteriori.

Si suggerisce:

- di non ostruire il foro di uscita;

- di abbassare parzialmente la tapparella lasciando libero lo scarico riducendo cosl l'irraggiamento solare e lo scambio d'aria interno/esterno.

ALLACCIAMENTO ELETTRICO

- La linea elettrica, di tipo adatto per elettrodomestici, deve avere una portata adeguata alla potenza assorbita (1'assorbifnento é riportato in Tabella 1).

- Verificare che la tensione di alimentazione sia: 220/240 V - 50 Hz.

· - La presa di corrente deve avere il collegamento di messa a terra efficiente.

N.B.: Nel casoin cui laspinaa norme europee di cui é dotatoil condizionatore(CEE 7,Vll)non si adatti alle presea murodicui disponete, abbiate cura di sostituirla solo con una idonea con almeno una portata da 10 A - 250 V (IMQ) dotata ovviamente di collegamento per la messa a terra.

Estrarre il cavo di alimentazione elettrica dal suo alloggiamento sul retro dell'apparecchio ed inserire la spina nella presa.

QUESTO APPARECCHIO E' CONFORME ALLA DIRETTIVA EN 55014 SULLA SOPPRESSIONE DEI RADIODISTURBI.

PREPARAZIONE AL FUNZIONAMENTO

1) Inserire il tubo di scarico aria nel suo alloggiamento; se il Vostro condizionatore é provvisto di tubo a baionetta, inseritelo come indicato nella figura a lato.

2) Porre il condizionatore in prossimitä del foro di scarico nella parete o vicino alla finestra ove si intende farlo funzionare. Abbiatecuradi porlosu un pavimento in piano ed inserite gli appositi ammortizzatori/fermaruote sotto le rotelle.

3) 11 tubo di scarico puö essere compresso o este- so da 500 mm. a 1400 mm. perö é bene usarlo nella sua minima lunghezza. Non prolungare assolutamente il tubo.

COME EFFETTUARE IL PRIMO RIFORNIMENTO D'ACQUA

Usare acqua pulita di acquedotto non contenente sali. L'acqua é necessaria al funzionamento del condizionatore per il raffreddamento del condensatore e viene espulsa sotto forma di vapore attraverso il foro di scarico all'esterno. La durata di una carica d'acqua dipende molto dalle condizioni ambientali quali temperatura, umiditä, isolamento,. esposizione della stanza, numero di persone presenti, ecc.

Orientativamente la durata oscilla tra le 7 e le 10 ore.

Una volta terminata racqua nella tanica, il funzionamento verrä automaticamente commutato da acqwa ad aria. Nello stesso istante aumenterä la quäntitä di aria espulsa dal tubo posteriore .

FUNZIONAMENTO AD ARIA

Se l'Utente sceglie di far funzionare il PAC 29 Eco ad aria é sufficiente non riempire la tanica d'acqua.

UN'ULTIMA OCCHIATA ALLA STANZA

Ci sono alcune avvertenze da seguire per ottenere il massimo rendimento dal condizionatore:

- chiudere porte e finestre dell'ambiente da condizionare. Unica eccezione é nel caso dell'installazione

"volante" in cui la finestra socchiusa é necessaria.

AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI

- Nelle zone dove l'acqua é particolarmente ricca di calcare, si consiglia l'uso di una soluzione che ne riduca notevolmente la formazione. Su richiesta, tale liquido puö essere fornito dai Centri Assistenza.

- L'apparecchio deve essere necessariamente collegato a terra come indicato nelle norme d'installa- zione. La casa costruttrice non si assumealcuna responsabilitä se questa norma antinfortunistica non viene rispettata.

- In caso di söstituzione del cavo di alimentazione usare solo cavi di tipo HOSVV-F di sezione 3 x l mm2.

- Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione elettrica per spostare l'apparecchio.

- L'estremitä esterna del tubo di scarico deve essere libera per non ostacolare l'evacuazione dell'aria.

- 11 condizionatore non va installato in luoghi ove l'atmosfera possa contenere gas combustibili.

- Evitare di farlo funzionare in atmosfere oleose, solforose o vicino a sorgenti di calore.

- Prima di spostare il condizionatore scaricare l'acqua della bacinella attraverso il tubo di drenaggio.

- Non appoggiare oggetti caldi o pesanti sul condizionatore..

- Pulire il filtro dell'aria ogni settimana.

- Evitare l'utilizzo di prolunghe del cavo di alimentazione. Nel caso si renda necessaria una prolunga consultare un elettricista specializzato.

- Trasporto in auto del condizionatore. Se non é possibile trasportarlo in posizione "verticale" si consiglia o di caricarlo sul fianco destro (opposto alla tanica) oppure sullo schienale distanziandolo con uno spessoré di cartone o polistiroto posto vicino "all'imbocco scarico aria", dopo aver tolto il tubo di scarico.

Non installare l'appärecchio in locali con volume inferiore agli 15 m3.

MANUTENZIONE

PRECAUZIONI: Durante le operazioni di pulizia e normale manutenzione ricordarsi di staccare la spina.

Per nessuna ragione lavare il condizionatore con acqua corrente. Si potrebbero arrecare danni al circuito elettrico.

PULIZIA FILTRO ARIA

- Se il filtro dell'aria si sporca, la circolazione dell'aria viene resa difficile e diminuisce l'efficienza del condizionatore. Pulire il filtro ogni settimana.

- Per togliere il filtro dell'aria, tirarlo leggermente verso l'alto. Per rimetterlo spingere verso il basso.

- Per togliere la polvere depositata sul filtro usare un aspirapolvere. Se é molto sporco immergerlo in acqua tiepida risciacquandolo piü volte. La temperatura dell'acqua va mantenuta sotto i 40°C. Dopo averlo lavato lasciare asciugare il filtro prima di reinserirlo.

PULIZIA DELL'INVOLUCRO ESTERNO

Pulire con un panno inumidito ed asciugare con un panno asciutto.

PRECAUZIONI: Mai usare benzina, gasolioesolventi simili per lapulizia. Mai spruzzare liquido insetticida o simili. La vernice puö staccarsi e la plastica si puö deformare.

PULIZIA DELLA BACINELLA

Quando la bacinella si sporca dopo un prolungato uso, é bene pulirla almeno una volta al mese nel seguente modo:

1) Spegnere l'apparecchio e staccare la spina.

2) Aprire il pannello anteriore ed estrarre la tanica.

3) Togliere il tappo dal tubo di drenaggio che si trova dietro il condizionatore e vuotare l'acqua in un catino.

4) A drenaggio avvenuto rimettere il tappo.

5) Togliere lo sporco strofinando con un panno dove viene appoggiata la tanica.

VERIFICHE DI INIZIO STAGIONE

Verificare che il cavo di alimentazione e la presa non siano difettosi. .

Assicurarsi ché sia stata fatta la messa a terra e che·il filo non sia rotto o scollegato.

Osservare scrupolosamente le norme di installazione.

OPERAZIONI DI FINE STAGIONE

1) Effettuare la decalcificazione (vedi pag. 15).

2) Far uscire l'acqua della bacinella di raccolta.

3) Far funzionare solo il ventilatore per circa mezz'ora per asciugare internamente il condizionatore.

4) Spegnere l'apparecchio e togliere la spina.

5) Togliere il tubo di scarico

6) Pulire il filtro e farlo asciugare bene prima di reintrodurlo.

7) Non coprire l'apparecchio bon sacchi quando viene riposto.

8) Non riporre l'apparecchio in locali con volume inferiore a 15m3

Manutenzione periodica (IMPORTANTE)

Quando il deposito di calcare diventa eccessivo (in media dopo 400 ore di funzionamento) e comunque una volta ogni stagione é indispensabile provve- dere alla decalcificazione come sotto descritto.

ISTRUZIONI PER LA DECALCIFICAZIONE

Materiale necessario: 1/4 di litro di liquido decalcificante (fornito assieme al condizionatore) 1 litro di acqua pulita

= diluizione 80 %

a) Estrarre latanica dall'apparecchio e scaricare racqua rimasta nella bacinelladi . raccolta, tramite tubo di drenaggio.

b) Chiudere il tubo di drenaggio. Versare 1/4 di I. di liquido decalcificante e 11. di acqua pulita nella bacinella di raccolta che si trova al di sotto della tanica, sul fondo dell'apparecchio.

c) Far funzionare il condizionatore per circa mezz'ora.

d) Scaricare poi tutto il liquido rimasto nella bacinella e risciacquare abbondante- mente. Durante il risciacquo il tubo di drenaggio deve essere aperto e l'appa- recchio in funzione.

e) Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente e pulire a fondo la bacinella con un panno pulito.

T) Dopo la pulizia della baciliella, il condizionatore puö funzionare normalmente.

SE ALL'ATTO DELLA RIUTILIZZAZIONE DEL CONDIZIONATORE, DOPO IL LA- VAGGIO SOPRA DESCRITTO, SI VERIFICA LA PRESENZA DI TRACCE DI SCHIU- MA NELL'ACQUA, 010' E' DA RITENERSI NORMALE. SE LA SCHIUMA E' INVECE ABBONDANTE, RISCIACQUARE ULTERIORMENTE IL CONDIZIONATORE.

RICHIEDETE ADDIZIONALI QUANTITA' DI LIQUIDO DECALCIFICANTE AL PIU' VICINO CENTRO ASSISTENZA DE' LONGHI.

ATTENZIONE

L'uso di prodotti diversi da quelli De' Longhi potrebbe provocare danni ai compo- nenti interni e far cosi interrompere i termini della garanzia.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The PAC 29 ECO isan extre'melyversatileair-conditioner, performing its aircooling functionthrough either water condensation or air condensation.

The user can choose between the two functions:

1) WATER FUNCTION - For economical, highly efficient ahd rapid air cooling. This function is recommended when the appliance is first switched on and the environment is particularly hot.

2) AIR FUNCTION - For less intensecooling. A more convenient function (no need to fill Water container).

The versatility of this appliance is demonstrated by its ability tö switch automatically to air function whenever the water container is empty.

INSTALLATION FOR AIR-CONDI- : TIONING FUNCTION

Our air-conditioner is portable and versatile: it can be used as a permanent installation or wise easily moved from one room to another.

When installed permanently, all air discharged from the rear hose is extracted from the room in which the appliance is installed.

Checkthatthe room (particularly if it is small) is not"air-tight"; a drop in pressure could cause.amalfunction and thereby activate the safety switch. Air entering the room through door and window cracks is normally.

PREPARING THE UNIT FOR USE

1) Fit the exhaust tube in place; if your conditioner is supplied with a bayonet tube, it is fitted as illustrated in the diagram.

2) For permanent installation, place the appli- ance near the wall or window outlet. Make sure it is standing on a level surface and fitthe , special shock absorbers/castor stops under-

neath the castors.

3) The exhaust hose can. be compressed or extended between 500 mm. and 1400 mm., but is best used at minimum length. Never stretch the hose.

HOW TO PRÉPARE WATER CONTAINER

Use only clean, salt-free tap water. The water is essential forthe air cooling operation and is discharged in the form of steam through the exhaust outlet. A container full of.water lasts for a period that depends on a number of conditions such as temperature, humidity, insulation, exposure of the room, number of people present,etc. On average it will last approximately 7 to 10 hours.

When the container is empty, the appliance automatically changes function from water to air. At the same time, the quantity of air discharged from the rear hose will. increase..

During "water condensation" cooling function and in particularly quiet surroundings (eg. bedroom), a slight gurgling noise may be heard. This may be regarded as perfectly normal.

Warning: Do not use water containing salt, eg. seawater or water treated using softening systems that utilize kitchen salt.

SETTING THE TIMER

The programmer/timer, like all clocks, must be set to the exact time. If for example it is 4.00 pm. (16.00), turn the dial in a clockwise direction (following the direction of the arrow) until the number 16 is lined up with the triangular pointer (the arrows indicates 4:00 P.M. approximately ).

Note: Never turn the dial in an anti-clockwise direction!

The timer is in effect, an electric clock and worksonly if the plug is connected to the power supply. Whenever the plug is disconnected or there is a power failure, the programmer stops (the clock is then "slow") and must be re-set.

The unit can be used in either programmed or non- programmed mode.

Note For technical reasons, the temperature is not expressed in degrees but by a line increasing in thickness.

We therefore recommend that when starting up the appliance, the thermostat be turned to maximum (thick green line = maximum cold). When the desired temperature has been reached, turn the thermostat slowly away from the maximum cooling position until the appliance switches off. Leave the thermostat in this position, The air-conditioner is now programmed to maintain the exact temperature at all times.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

In hard water areas, it is advisable to use a solution to reduce calcium deposit. This liqüid can be obtained on requést from Serce Centres.

- The appliance must be earthed as indicated in the installation instructions. The manufacturer will not accept responsibility for any damage arising if these safety regulations are not complied with.

- If the power supply cable is replaced, use only type HOSVV-F, 3xl mm2 diameter cables.

- Never pull the power lead when moving the appliance.

- Ensure that the outdoor end of the exhaust hose is kept obstruction free.

- Avoid using the air-conditioner in oily or sulphurous atmospheres or near sources of heat.

- Before moving the air-conditioner, empty the water from the collecting tray through the drainage tube.

- Never place hot or heavy objects on the appliance.

- Clean the air filter once a week.

- Avoid the usé of extension leads. If it is necessary to lengthen the power lead, consult a qualified electrician.

- Transport by car. If it is not possible to transport the appliance in an upright position, then either lay it on its right side (opposite side to water container) or on its back, protecting the air outlet with a piece of cardboard or polystyrene and first removing the exhaust hose.

- Do not store the unit in rooms or spaces measuring less than 15m3.

SERVICING

PRECAUTIONS: during cleaning and normal maintenanceoperations, remembertodisconnectthe plug.

Under no circumstances should the appliance be washed with running water. Damage could be caused to the electrical circuit.

AIR-FILTER CLEANING

- A clogged air filter reduces air circulation and the efficiency of the appliance. Clean the filter once a

week.

- To remove the filter, pull it up gently. Push down to replace.

Use a vacuum cleanerto remove dust deposited on the filter. I f it is very dirty, soak it in lukewarm water and rinse thoroughly. The temperature of the water must be kept below 40°C. After washing, leave the filter to dry before replacing.

CLEANING EXTERNAL HOUSING

Clean with a damp cloth and rub over with a clean dry cloth.

PRECAUTIONS: never use petröl, oil or similar solvents for cleaning. Never spray insecticides or similar liquids. Serious damage may result to paintwork and plastic.

CLEANING COLLECTING TRAY

The collecting tray should be cleaned at least once a month to prevent dirt from accumulating after prolonged use.

1) Switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug;

2) Open the.water container compartment door and remove the container;

3) Remove the plug from the drainage tube situated at the back of the appliance and empty the water into a bowl;

4) Once the container has been fully drained, replace the plug;

5) Remove any dirt from the surface below the container, rubbing with a cloth.

CONTROLS AT BEGINNING OF SEASON

1 Cbeck the condition of the power lead and socket.

Make sure that the appliance has been properly earthed and that the wire is not broken or loose.

Follow all installation procedures with maximum attention.

END OF SEASON OPERATIONS

Periodic Servicing (IMPORTANT)

This appliance should be de-scaled whenever the calcium deposit becomes excessive (on average after 400 operating hours) or in any event at least once every season.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DE-SCALING

You will need: 1/4 liter de-scaling fluid (supplied with appliance) 1 liter clean water

= 80% dilution

a) Removethe container from the unitand drain away any water left inthe collecting tray with the drainage tube.

b) Seal the dräinage tube. Pour 1/4 liter of de-scaling fluid and 11.clean water into the collecting tray situated under the container, at the bottom of the unit.

c) Leave the air-conditioner to operate for about half an hour.

d) Drain away all the fluid left in the tray and rinse thoroughly. The drainage tube should be open and the appliance switched on during draining.

e) Disconnect the plug from the mains and clean the collecting tray thoroughly with a clean cloth.

f) Once the tray is clean, the appliance can resume normal operätion.

IF, WHEN RESTARTING THE APPLIANCE AFTER CLEANING, TRACES OF FOAM ARE FOUNDIN THEWATER, THIS IS NORMAL. IFHOWEVER A LARGEQUANTITY OF FOAM IS NOTED, RINSE THE APPLIANCE ONCE AGAIN.

FURTHER SUPPLIES OF DE-SCALING FLUID CAN BE OBTAINED FROM YOUR LOCAL DE LONGHI SERVICE CENTRE.

ATTENTION

The use of products other than those supplied by De Longhi may cause damage to interior conlponents, thereby invalidating the guarantee.

Electrical connection (U.K. only)

A) If your appliance comes fitted with a plug, it will incorporate a 1 3 Amp fuse. If it does not fit your socket, the plug should be cut off from the mains lead, and an appropriate plug fitted, as below.

WARNING: Very carefully dispose of the cut off plug after removing the fuse: do not insert in a 1 3 Amp socket elsewhere in the house as this could cause a shock hazard.

With alternative plugs not incorporating a fuse, the circuit must be protected by a 15 Amp fuse.

If the plug is a moulded-on typer, the fuse cover must be re-fitted when changing the fuse using a 1 3 Amp Asta approved fuse to BS 1362. In the event of losing the fuse cover, the plug must NOT be based until a replacement fuse cover can be obtained from your nearest electrical dealer. The colour of the correct replacement fuse cover is that as marked on the base of the plug.

INSTALLATION

Votre appareil est mobile et d'utilisation trés flexi- ble il peutétre utilisé sur une installation définitive ou étre facilement déplacé d'une piéce ä l'autre.

Sur les installations définitives, l'air expulsé par le tube postérieur est aspiré en totalité dans le löcal dans lequel l'appareil est installé. S'assurer dans ce cas, et surtout si le local est particuliérement petit, que celui-ci ne soit pas "étanche". En effet la dépression qui se crée lors du fonctionnement provoquerait des anomalies de fonctionnement et le déclenchement de l'interrüpteur de sécurité. L'aération naturelle des piéces (fentes des portes et fenétres) suffit d'une fagon générale ä assurer une circulation d'air suffisante.

Laisser le cas échéant une porte entrouverte (une ouvertüre d'l cm suffit) L'appareil peut également étre utilisé en installa-

tion "volante" qui en permet l'utilisation dans toutes les piéces non équipées, ä condition de disposerd'une fenétre ou d'une porte-fenétre. Le systéme "volant" vous permet d'utiliser immédia- tement le climatiseur jusqu'ä son installation définitive.

N.B: danstouslescascontrölerqueleclimatiseur soit installé sur un sol "plat". Insérer éventuelle- ment les deux dispositifs de blocage des roues.

Suggestions:

- Ne pas obstruer l'orifice d'évacuation

- Abaisser le store de fagon partielle en laissant l'échappement libre, pour limiter le chauffage par rayonnement solaire, direct et l'échange thermique d'air interne/externe.

- La ligne utilisée, convehant aux appareils éléctroménagers, doit étre adaptée ä la puissance consommée par l'appareil (voir caractéristiques Tab.1).

- S'assurer que la tension d'alimentation soit de 220/240 V- 50 Hz.

PREPARATION AU FONCTIONNEMENT

1) Insérer le tuyau d'échappement de l'air dans son logement; si votre climatiseur est muni d'un tuyau ä ba'ionette, l'insérer comme illustré sur la figure.

2) Placer le climatiseur ä proximité de l'orifice d'évacuation du mur ou d'une fenétre prés de laquelle vous désirez utiliser votre appareil. Ayez soin de poser celui-ci sur un sol plat et d'installer les blocages-amortisseurs sous les roues.

3) Le flexible d'évacuation peut étre comprimé ou allongé de 500mm ä 1400 mm. 11 est préférable d'utiliser celui-ci au minimum de longueur possi- ble. Ne jamais le rallonger.

PREMIER REMPLISSAGE D'EAU

Utiliser de l'eau du réseau exempte de sels. L'eau, nécessaire au fonctionnement du climatiseur pour refroidir le condensateur, est ensuite évacuée sous forme de vapeur par rorifice d'évacuation. L'autono- mie de fonctionnement avec un bidon plein dépend des conditions ambiantes de température, humidité, isolation, exposition de la piéce, nombre de personnes présentes etc...

A titre indicatif la durée moyenne d'une charge est de 7 ä 10 heures.

Une fois le bidon vide, le fonctionnement est commuté automatiquement du mode "A EAU" en mode "A AIR". Simultanément, la quantité d'air évacué par le tuyau postérieur augmente.

En fonctionnement "A EAU" et dans les locaux particuliérement silencieux (ex: chambre ä coucher) il est possible d'entendre un léger gargouillis. Ce phénoméne est absolument normal.

Attention: ne pas utiliser d'eau contenant du sei de cuisine, par ex. eau de mer, ou dé l'eau décalcifiée par dispositif utilisant des sels de cuisine.

En supposant qu'il soit 16.00 heures, faire tourner le disque dans le sens de rotation des aiguilles d'une montre (suivre le sens de la - fléche) jusqu'ä faire coincider le chiffre 16 avec le repére ttiangulaire (la fléche indique ä peu prés 16.00 heures).

Le timer est une horloge électrique et fonctionne

uniquement lorsque la fiche est connectée au réseau.

Chaque fois que la fiche est désinsérée ou que le courant manque, le programmeur s'arréte (rhorloge reste "en arriére"j, ce qui rend nécessaire un nouveau réglage de l'horloge.

Votre climatiseur peut étre utilisé en mode "programmé ou "non programmé".

Remarque: Pour des raisons techniques la température n'est pas exprimée en degrés mais par une ligne étroite qui s'élargisse au fur et ä mesure. 11 est donc conseillé de faire démalrer l'appareil en positionnant le thermostat sur la position maximum (ligne large verte = froid maximum).

Lorsque la température dans la piéce aura atteint le niveau désiré, on pourra tourner lentement le bouton duthermostaten l'éloignantprogressivementdemax. froid, jusqu'äintervention duthermostat qui éteindra l'appareil. A cet instant vous aurez programmé l'appareil sur la température exactement désirée qui sera maintenue en permanence par le thermostat.

AVERTISSEMENTS IMPORTANTS

- Dans les zones ä eau particuliérement dure, il est conseillé d'utiliser une solution adoucissante, que nos centres d'assistance peuvent fournir sur demande.

- L'appareil doit obligatoirement étre mis ä la terre comme indiqué plus haut. Le fabricant de l'appareil est dégagé de toute responsabilité si cette régle essentielle pour votre sécurité n'est pas respectée.

- En cas de remplacement du cäble d'alimentation n'utiliser que du cäble HO5VV-Fde section 3 x l mm2..

- Ne jamais déplacer l'appareil en tirant sur son cäble d'alimentation.

- L'extrémité externe du flexible d'évacuation ne doit pas étre bouchée ce qui empécherait l'évacuation normale de l'air.

- Leclimatiseurnedoitpasétreinstallédansdeslocauxdontl'atmosphéreestsusceptiblederenfermer des gaz inflammables.

- Eviter le fonctionnement de l'appareil dans des atmosphéres huileuses, sulfureuses ou dans le voisinage de sources de chaleur.

- Avant de déplacer rappareil vidanger l'eau se trouvant dans le bac par le tuyau de drainage.

- Ne pas appuyer d'objets chauds ou lourds sur le clirnatiseur.

- Nettoyer le filtre ä air toutes les semaines.

- Eviter l'utilisation de rallonges électriques. Le cas échéant, consulter un électricien spécialisé.

-:---- Transport automobile: si le transport vertical est impossible, il est conseillé de coucher l'appareil sur le cöté droit (opposé au réservoir) ou sur le dos en ayant soin d'installer une épaisseur de carton ou . de polystyréne autour de la sortie d'air aprés avoir retiré le tuyau d'évacuation.

- Ne pas ranger l'appareil dans des locaux ayant un volume inférieur ä 15mi

ENTRETIEN

PRECAUTIONS: Ne pas oublier de débrancher la prise électrique avant toute opération de nettoyage et d'entretien courant. Ne jamais laver le climatiseur ä l'eau courante, cela poürrait causer des dommages au circuit électrique.

NETTOYAGE FILTRE A AIR

- Si le filtre ä air est sale la circulation de l'air devient difficile et l'efficacité du climatiseur diminue.

Nettoyer le filtre toutes les semaines.

- Pour retirer le filtre, tirer celui-ci légérement vers le haut. Pour replacer celui-ci, pousser vers le bas.

- Dépoussiérer le filtre ä l'aide d'un aspirateur. Si le filtre est vraiment trés sale, le plonger dans un bain d'eau tiéde et le rincerplusieurs fois. Latempérature de l'eau doit étre maintenueau-dessous de 40°C.

Aprés cette opération, faire sécher soigneusement le filtre avant de le remettre en place.

NETTOYAGE DU CAPOT EXTERNE.

Nettoyer avec un linge humide et sécher avec un linge sec.

PRECAUTIONS: Ne jamais utiliser d'essence, de gasoil ou autres sölvants pour nettoyer le capot. Ne jamais utiliser d'insecticide ou équivalent. Cela pourrait endommager la peinture et déformer le plastique.

NETTOYAGE DU BAC

Aprés une utilisation prolon'gée, le bac est probablement sale. Nettoyer celui-ci une fois par mois en procédant de la fagon suivante:

1) Arréter l'appareil, et désinsérer la fiche d'alimentation.

2) Ouvrir le panneau frontal et extraire le bidon.

3) Retirer le bouchon du tuyau de drainage se trouvant derriére le climatiseur et vider l'eau dans une récipient.

4) Le drainage terminé remettre le bouchon en place.

5) Nettoyer l'emplacement du bidon ä l'aide d'un chiffon.

CONTROLES DE DEBÜT DE SAISON

Contröler que le cäble d'alimentation et que la prise soient en parfait état.

S'assurer que la mise ä la terre ait été effectuée, et que le fil ne soit ni Cassé ni débranché.

Observer les instructions d'installation de fagon scrupuleuse.

OPERATIONS DE FIN DE SAISON

1) Effectuer la décalcification (voir page 47), 2) Vidanger le bac collecteur.

3) Fairesécherl'intérieurdel'appareil en faisant fonctionneruniquementle ventilateurpendantunedemi- heure.

4) Eteindre l'appareil et désinsérer la fiche électrique.

5) Retirer le flexible d'évacuation.

6) Nettoyer le filtre et le faire sécher soigneusement avant de le réintroduire.

7) Ne pas couvrir l'appareil de sacs lorsqu'il est rangé.

8) Ne pas ranger l'appareil dans des locaux ayant un volume inférieur ä 15m3.
