Anakoinosis, from the Grecian Anakoinosis (communication), is a paradigmatic new anticancer therapy aimed at correcting aberrant tissue cancer homeostasis by re-activating lost tissue and systemic defences. Going beyond the classical genetic view of cancer, it takes into account the cell-to-cell communication to restore the health of target cancer tissue. Originally designed for palliative care, anakoinosis showed unexpected anticancer potential.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS CONFERENCE

We want to build a “repository” of the still scattered observations implying that tissues obey laws that go beyond the strict gene- or cell-autonomous regulatory circuitry. This repository would be a coherent structural framework on Molecular Tissue Dynamics in Cancer Microenvironment. These data may pave the road for to identify/produce new biomodulatory compounds that eliminate/control tumor cells by correcting the aberrant cancer homeostasis.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE

To promote the opportunity for a sustainable development of new-concept anticancer drug, we solicit participation of Researchers in areas of clinical oncology, translational studies, basic cell/tissue biology research, regenerative medicine, theoretical modelling, systems biology, innovative technological tools, pharmacology, and drug design.
