The new BLACK EAGLE line of shotguns is based or ihe typical Bene Hi inertial, fi*ed barrel, reooi l* operated system.

Changing Ihe drop
The stock gives the shotgun a drop of 55 mm, If this drop does not allow you to pro¬
perly shoulder and airn the shotgun, rt can be changed using Ihe PROP CHANGE*
MEMT Kl I supplied with your shotgun.
With this kit the drop maybe changed to SO or 60 mm. The kil consisls of a stock retain¬
ing plaie arid a drop changemeot spacer (oheiora 50 mm drop and one for a 60 mm drop) (fig. 15).
Each component is marked with the corres¬
pond In g drop size.
The procedure to he followed is quite sim¬
ple (fig. 14):
Using si Phillips screwdriver remove fasten¬
ing screws A from th£ butt pfate and remove il.
Using a 13 mm socket wrench undo stock retaining nut R and remove It together with eiastic washer C and plate □.
I he stock can now be removed and the spacer E that corresponds to the desired drop can be slid over the recoil spring tube until it is seated against the receiver.
The reference number shpufet be visible.

Loading
The ammunition magazine, depending on tbs version, can contain 1 , 2, 2 or 4 70 rnrn rounds. Counting a chambered round, lh*s sh o tg u n&aitim u niti on capac i ty rs 2P 3 4 or 5 rounds.
To load the shotgun follow the steps out¬
lined below;
- Engage the safety catch by pushing the safety button out the trigger guard from lett to right until the red ring, which means the gun is ready to be fired, is no longer visible.
- Make s u re tha 1 1 he wea pon is not I oaded by opening the bolt with ihe bolt lover (fig. 15) and closing it again by pushing the carrier ire. ease (tig. 1 2). These move¬
ments also cock the hammer, a neces¬
sary step in loading the shotgun.
- Tu/n the weapon around andr pointing the muzzle towards the ground, insert one round n the magazine (fig, 4 6) by pushing il In until il is held in place by Ihe carrier latch (fig. 17).
