During these years of Doctorate there have been a lot of doubts about my choice, and my greatest fear that worried me,was not to be able to achieve the target. On the other hand, the will to test myself, to challenge once again myself, to show myself and everybody that I wouldn't have fallen at the first difficulties and that I would have reached the aim, were really strong. First of all I have to thank my family, that never left me alone during my whole life, supporting my choices, understanding me, holding me when I was wavering and lifting me up when I was laying on the ground. I dedicate this research work to you, Mommy and Daddy, because only thanks to you I could reach my current position. Another big thanks go to Dr. Tuija Kekarainen and to the “TTV group”, who received me to the CReSA offering me complete helpfulness, teaching me, making me feel part of the group. Tuija, I owe you so much and I will treasure everything I’ve learned during my staying over there!
