Sommario
La tesi svolta riguarda il progetto di una passerella ciclo pedonale in acciaio sul fiume Arno che collega la frazione di Riglione-Oratoio all’Ospedale di Cisanello.
La passerella è composta da una rampa di 30 m dal lato di Riglione, una travata di 150 m tenuta sospesa da cavi e antenne seguendo uno schema “Fink rovesciato”, ed un viadotto di 140 m dal lato di Cisanello.
L’idea del progetto in esame nasce in concomitanza con l’ingrandimento che l’Ospedale di Pisa sta subendo in questi ultimi anni e dalla necessità quindi, di poter essere raggiunto in maniera più agevole e diminuire i flussi di traffico competenti alle odierne infrastrutture, favorendo l’uso di veicoli non inquinanti.
Ad avvalorarne i benefici vi è anche l’inserimento della medesima in un progetto che prevederà la realizzazione di una pista ciclabile che parte dal Comune di Cascina ed arriva a Marina di Pisa, nella quale la passerella permetterebbe il collegamento dei due tratti separati dal fiume Arno.
Abstract
This thesis is about the design of a steel pedestrian walkway on the river Arno connecting the hamlet of Riglione-Oratoio to the “Cisanello Hospital”.
The gangway is made up of a 30 m rampart on the Riglione side, a 150 m track suspended by cables and antennas following an "overturned Fink" scheme, and a viaduct of 140 m on the side of
Cisanello.
The idea of this project is born in conjunction with the enlargement that the Pisa Hospital has undergone in recent years and the need therefore to be easier to reach and to reduce traffic flows that are relevant in today's infrastructures, favoring the use of non-polluting vehicles.
Secondly, another benefit is also the inclusion of the walkway in a wider project that will lead to the creation of a cycle track that starts from Cascina city center and arrives to Marina di Pisa, in which the pedestrian walkway would allow the connection of the two tracts separated by river Arno.
