CONNECTION TERMINAL BOARD AND INPUT/OUTPUT DESCRIPTION Find here below the terminal numbers and their description:
Description of Inputs/outputs
The IN1 and IN2 inputs may operate in two different modes selectable through JP2.
1) JP2 inserted in the right position (as shown in the wiring diagrams): in this case the inputs are balanced, they operate on a resistance-change basis. The balancing resistance provided, to be connected to the inputs, must be 47 Kohm. Diagram 1 shows the connection to devices having output NC contacts, which are necessary for the dialler operation. When the contact is closed, the dialler is at rest, when it is open the dialler starts the calling cycle.
2) JP2 inserted in the left position: in this case the inputs are not provided with positive. This means that the dialler is at rest when positive is present (+12). Without positive, the alarm cycle will start.
IN1 and IN2 are the inputs of channel 1 and channel 2 respectively. When they are unbalanced, they start their calling cycle.
IN/BL is the block control input; if it has not started yet, it excludes the calling cycle related to channel 2 whereas, if it is still in process, it will stop it. It can be connected directly to the control panel TC terminal, in this case the dialler channel 2 which is normally dedicated to burglar systems, will be stopped as soon as the control panel is disconnected and will be on as soon as the control panel is connected.
Open collector-type C/BAT output, gives the signal of low backup battery and/or GSM battery. It Terminal n° Description

OUT TAMPER Tampering output/NC contact OUT TAMPER Tampering output/NC contact
OUT TAMPER outputs belong to a NC contact which protects against tampering and tearing. The contact will be closed when the dialler lid is closed and its enclosure is fixed on the wall. The OUT TAMPER terminal contact will open as soon as the lid is opened or the dialler is removed with force from the wall. The OUT TAMPER terminals must be connected to the control panel tamper line As an example besides diagram 1, refer to diagrams 2 and 3 showing the connection between the dialler and the AF994 and AF997 control panels.
INTERNAL VIEW AND CONNECTION TO THE PORTABLE TELEPHONE Note: The figure shows the
connection to the por-table telephone which is very fast;
just connect the con-trol connector to the portable telephone base which will also recharge the telepho-ne battery provided.
