ABSTRACT
The paper presents the results of the retrieval of tropospheric ozone from the measurements carried out with the Ozone Monitoring Instrument satellite mission. The inversion algorithm is based on a neural network approach. The performance is evaluated by means of comparison with co‐located retrievals obtained with a more traditional technique such as the Optimal Estimation method.
