4th Energy Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina with international participation

Energy efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources

Neum, 25 – 27. September 2013

After sucessful three previous Councils and and evident necessity for exchange of expert experience from energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy sources (RES) secotrs, we are happy to invite you to the 4th Energy Council of Bosniia and Herzegovina. Council will be held in Neum, hotel Sunce, from 25th to 27th September 2013.

Like each time before, we gave our best to make the Council as quality as possible regarding content and usfulness for our participants. Hence, besides part of the Council dedicated to professional papers, there will be also held - One-day Form „Window to the future“, dedicated to EU trends in EE and RES sectors, and legal and institutional harmonization of Bosnia and Herzegovina;

About the Energy Forum

A one-day Forum „Window to the Future“ dedicated to EU trends in the area of Energy Efficiency (EE), is designed to supporting public institutions and the Economy to overcome the legal and institutional barriers and finding solutions to issues that are of strategic importance to the local community, and for Bosnian society as whole. This Forum aims to create a platform for open discussions, which will help formulate opinions and make conclusions of importance for the development of the energy sector, particularly in the Framework of the Energy Community Treaty, and post Kyoto activities within the framework of the Convention on Climate Change.

Objectives of the Forum

The objective of the Forum is to offer adequate answers and solutions to questions and problems to all relevant actors in the field of Energy, regarding trends, opportunities and obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on its path to EU accession. For this reason, the Forum panelists are from the region and the EU member states which had similar problems on their development paths.

Forum aims to bring together engineers (mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, civil engineers, architects), economists, lawyers, employees of government organizations, agencies, funds, economic organizations, scientific and professional institutions and others involved in the design and implementation of energy policies and regulations in BiH.

Themes

Forum contains three thematic blocks. A short introductory presentation preceding each thematic block and will be held by experts from EU and the region. Following topics will be in the focus of the Forum.

Fees

Participants: 450,00 KM (230,00 EUR-a), i.e. 350,00 KM (179,00 EUR-a) for each next participant from the same company ;

Authors of papers: 330 KM (168,00 EUR-a);

Students: 280,00 KM (143,00 EUR-a);

Fee covers costs of participation at the Council, Proceedings and official materials from the Council, welcoming cocktail, lunches, dinner party and refreshments during breaks.

* VAT is not included in the fee.

Applications and payments realized until Friday, 6th of September are subject to 10% discount.
