Lo studio si propone di verificare se la somministrazione dei due medicinali omeopatici, sia in grado di ridurre il numero degli episodi suppurativi a carico delle vie aeree superiori e inferiori in un campione di popolazione pediatrica di età compresa tra 3 anni e 16 anni.

A hundred and eighty-one patients, ninety-nine boys and eighty-two girls, aged between 3 and 16, with more then three suppurative episodes per year of the lower, middle and upper airways, were examined.

It’s possible that the combination of two drugs in high dilution:
a) produces a resorption of purulent collections through the activation of macrophages
b) stimulate immunomodulatory action on the intoxicated body by external factors (diet, drugs, heat stress ..) and weakened by pathological recurrences in a phase of latent failure such as that of growth.
c) activates neutrophils circulation of immunity, maintaining high level of bactericidal potentiality. (bactirisaid’l)
The literature suggests that Hepar sulfur is a Psoric drug and that Silicea has a Tubercolin reactivity but this work implies that their therapeutic action is not closely linked to the reactive model that emerges in patients.
The results confirm a combined action of the two drugs, perhaps enhanced by the association, and potentially not yet expressed and to test with further studies.
