6. ADDITIONAL RESEARCH ACTIVITY PERFORMED
During my Ph.D. research activity, I have been also involved in several other projects carred out in our laboratoy.
They are included in this chapter as follows:
- “Lack of brain serotonin affects postnatal development and serotonergic neuronal circuitry formation” (manuscript submitted for publication in which I appear as co-second author);
- Generation of the floxedTph2 allele (description of the research activity performed and results obtained so far);
- A targeted serotonergic neuron reporter stem cell line to model in vitro serotonergic neuron development and function (summary and figures of a manuscript under preparation in which I figure as third author);
- "Genetically engineered stem cells, method of production and uses thereof" (International Patent Application No. PCT/EP2011/061515);
- GCG triplet expansion in ARX gene in West syndrome: generation of an animal model suitable for morpho-functional analysis (description of the research activity performed and results obtained so far)
- “An epilepsy-related ARX polyalanine expansion modifies glutamatergic neurons excitability and morphology without affecting GABAergic neurons development” (manuscript under revision in
“Cerebral Cortex” in which I appear as fifth author)
