Di indubbia utilità, e non solo per il turista colto, le proposte di itinerari classici, medievali, storico-artistici r folklorici con puntuali riferimenti a tutto il territorio provinciale. Chiudono l’opera la proposta di una diversa didattica della storia locale ed il rapporto musei-territorio. Infine l’indice dei nomi di luogo.

Trascrizione integrale dei superstiti 15 diplomi di laurea dell’Almo Collegio Salerni­ tano attualmente conservati nell’Archivio di Stato di Salerno. Benché già noti (Capparoni, Sinno, Cassese). l’opportunità di pubblicarli ha una sua giustificazione considerando che all’epoca del Sinno (1921) il numero di quelli conosciuti era ben maggiore. E’ auspicabile perciò assicurare alle stampe anche gli altri eventualmente esistenti.

The authour examines, by several tables, Cava dci Tirreni «social evolution and strati - fication towards the middle of XVIII century -- a most important centre in the Reign of Neaples -- giving also a prospect of properties » distribution and rural landscape.

1J. CANTALUPO, A disappeared village: SUifone of Cilento.

Throughout unpublished documentation, the author examines the story of a former vil­ lage, located between the ancient Poseidonia and Agropoli in the late Middle Ages.

M. A. DEL GROSSO, Sea trade at Salerno in the XVI century.

The author analyses the charter parties and sea trades from and to Salerno, as well as the different kinds of ships and goods. The relevance of this study is given by the reali­ sation of the total absence of infrastructures in a town which was however the site for one of the most important fairs of Southern Italy.

R. LEMBO, Notes for a study of Salerno country side during the fascist era. The author, who has previously studied various aspects of the fascist phenomenon in Salerno country side, examines the specific issue of Sele’s valley’s reclamation and makes some interesting hypothesis on the role led by enterpreneurs.

F. SOFIA, Salerno’s ounces cadastre. A few questions of methodology.

A few questions of methodology are studied in relation of Salerno’s ounces cadastre. The author maintains that the cadastre had a negative influence in bringing about a fiscal reform.

D. DENTE, Freemansory in Salerno and its Province in the aftermath of Italian

Unity.

Throughout unpublished documentation, the author describes the constitution of Free­ mansory under the influence of Mazzini, Garibaldi and other members of the Italian democratic party, as soon as the country was unified.

F. TIMPANO, The Pre-Murattian cadastres in the State Archive of Salerno. This study implies an analysis and description of all Pre-Murattian Cadastres kept at the State Archive of Salerno.

G. GUARDIA, Cheerfulness’ fires. Some notes on an exibition.

Taking into examination a series of exibitions, the author stresses their symbolic mea­ ning and suggests further studies.

M. COPPOLA, Vivenzio, An intellectual bureaucrat between the French and the

Bourbon.

By the presentation of a biography the story of an intellectual Neapolitan who lived between the XVIII and XIX centuries and had a primary role in the public administration, the author publishes an interesting memory on the abrogation of feudal rights.

N. CAPANO, A year’s activity of a notary in Cilento.

The author makes the regest of a series of notary acts from the coast of Cilento and comes to some conclusions.

C. CORRADINI, Maintenance ancl restauration’s techniches of some volumes kept

in the State Archive of Salerno.

The authores describes the restauration techniches of some manuscript volumes of con­ siderable importance, coming from the Medical School of Salerno.

P. CAVALLO BOGGI, Notes for a non-hagiographic history of the Medical School

of Salerno: Trotula or Eros.

The Authoress, a psycologist, explains in an interview the kind of reading she led on a medicine’s treatise of the XI century, written by a lady, and makes some interesting con­ siderations on the role of women in Salerno throughout XI and XII centuries.
