Lo studente acquisirà la conoscenza di aspetti, momenti, questioni della storia linguistica italiana dalle Origini a oggi, con attenzione anche alle fasi più antiche della nostra lingua, e con specifica attenzione alla lettura e all’analisi di testi, letterari e di altro genere, considerati paradigmatici da vari punti di vista.

The student will acquire knowledge of aspects, moments, questions of Italian linguistic history from the Origins to the present, with attention also to the most ancient phases of our language, and with specific attention to reading and analyzing texts, literary and other, considered paradigmatic from various points of view.

dramaturgia y representación rientra fra le attività formative caratterizzanti del CdS. Il corso mira a consolidare ulteriormente le abilità comunicative scritte e orali e le capacità di analisi autonoma di testi teatrali spagnoli di diversi periodi nelle loro dimensioni linguistiche, letterarie, spettacolari, drammaturgiche. Particolare attenzione verrà riservata allo studio del rapporto fra il testo per il teatro e la sua realizzazione nella messa in scena, anche attraverso l’uso e l’analisi di materiali video, e alle applicazioni traduttive connesse con il testo teatrale (traduzione letteraria, sovratitolazione). Inoltre il corso punta ad approfondire le riflessioni pratiche e teoriche sulla didattica della letteratura, con speciale riguardo alluso del testo teatrale in prospettiva didattica. Lo studente dovrà essere in grado di: analizzare testi e trasporli, tradurli e adattarli per il teatro, il cinema o altri eventi culturali; valutare le interrelazioni fra linguaggio letterario e linguaggi di altre forme espressive;

tradurre testi teatrali; comunicare ad un livello avanzato i contenuti disciplinari; applicare strumenti teorici e metodologici al contesto della didattica della letteratura. Propedeuticità: La literatura española en el espejo del tiempo.

Graduates in Languages and Literatures for Teaching and Translation obtain advanced knowledge and understanding in all the subject areas of their training in order to 1) consolidate and develop their competence in European and American Studies, with particular attention to their literature of specialisation; 2) deepen their knowledge of the two foreign languages chosen, achieving a heightened competence in the language of specialization and an advancement in the second language; 3) reach enhanced awareness of the linguistic features of their language of specialisation, both from a diachronic and a synchronic perspective; 4) reach an adequate knowledge of the most advanced methodologies for the analysis of literary texts; 5) handle confidently the theoretical-practical tools for teaching and for translation. Teatro español: dramaturgia y representación/ Spanish theatre: dramaturgy and performance is one of the characterising modules of the programme. It aims at consolidating written and spoken skills and autonomous critical analysis of theatrical works belonging to different periods and framed within their linguistic, literary, and dramaturgical dimensions.

Special emphasis will be given to the relation between the theatrical text and its staging realisation (also using audio-visual materials) and to the translation processes to which a theatrical text is submitted (e.g. literary translation and subtitling).

The unit also aims at deepening practical and theoretical competences on literature teaching methodologies, with a special focus on the use of the theatrical text in teaching practices. At the end of the module, students will be able to: analyse, translate and realise stage or screen adaptations of a text; evaluate the interrelations between literary language and languages belonging to other artistic forms; translate theatrical texts; communicate in oral and written form about the module contents (advanced level); apply theoretical and methodological tools to the context of literature teaching.

Requirements: Students must have already taken La literatura española en el espejo del tiempo/ Spanish literature in the mirror of time.

I laureati in Lingue e letterature per la Didattica e la Traduzione acquisiscono conoscenze e capacità di comprensione in tutti i settori oggetto della loro formazione in modo da 1) raggiungere un livello elevato di competenza letteraria e culturale nell'ambito delle civiltà europee e americane, con particolare attenzione a quelle di specializzazione; 2) approfondire la conoscenza delle due lingue straniere prescelte, con il raggiungimento di un livello elevato di competenza nella prima lingua e un perfezionamento del livello nella seconda lingua; 3) raggiungere un livello elevato di conoscenza delle problematiche linguistiche della lingua scelta come biennale, sapendone valutare gli sviluppi e le caratteristiche in chiave diacronica e sincronica; 4) raggiungere adeguate conoscenze nelle più aggiornate metodologie di analisi del testo letterario; 5) acquisire gli strumenti teorico-pratici utili all'insegnamento e la traduzione. Il corso fornisce le conoscenze avanzate sulla teoria della traduzione in prospettiva diacronica e permette di consolidare le competenze linguistico-traduttologiche, applicabili anche alla dimensione intersemiotica e intermediale. Consente inoltre di consolidare ulteriormente abilità comunicative scritte e orali di livello avanzato (C1+ del QCER) e di maturare gli strumenti metodologici spendibili nell’applicazione didattica, affinando al contempo capacità trasversali finalizzate alla formazione di un giudizio critico autonomo e di un utilizzo indipendente e flessibile degli strumenti critici acquisiti. Lo studente dovrà essere in grado di: comunicare efficacemente in lingua in contesti di specializzazione e divulgativi; analizzare autonomamente, in una prospettiva linguistico-traduttologica, diverse tipologie testuali, principalmente letterarie; adattare testi e tradurli per fini spettacolari (per esempio, selezionare il materiale testuale, redigere dialoghi e didascalie, segmentare e realizzare sottotitoli in lingua e in italiano, ecc.); riconoscere le varietà linguistiche ed elaborare strategie di traduzione efficaci nel contesto dei diversi media; riconoscere le potenzialità di testi letterari e adeguarne la tipologia per eventi culturali e contesti didattici; applicare strumenti teorici e metodologici al contesto della didattica. Traducir y adaptar para las artes escénicas y los medias/ Translation and adaptation for the performing arts and media is one of the characterising modules of the programme. The module provides advanced knowledge on the theory of translation in a diachronic perspective, and aims at consolidating linguistic-translational skills, which also apply to the intersemiotic and intermedial dimensions. It also allows learners to further consolidate written and oral communication skills at an advanced level (C1+ of the CEFR) and develop the methodological tools that can be used in the teaching of Spanish. The module also hones transversal skills aimed at the development of independent critical opinions, and of an independent and flexible use of the critical tools acquired. At the end of the module students will be able to: communicate in Spanish in specialized and popular contexts, effectively; carry out an independent analysis of different types of texts (mainly literary) from a linguistic and translational perspective; adapt and translate texts for audio-visual purposes (e.g. select text material, write dialogues and captions, segment and create subtitles in Spanish and in Italian, etc.); recognise linguistic varieties and develop effective translation strategies appropriate to different media; understand the potential of literary texts and adapt their typology to suit cultural events and educational contexts; apply theoretical and methodological tools to teaching contexts. Übersetzungstheoretische Ansätze in der Gegenwart/ Contemporary theoretical approaches to traslation is one of the characterising modules of the programme. The course aims to acquire communicative and argumentative skills at an advanced level in German, through the analysis and translation of typologically and diachronically differentiated texts.

Advanced critical methodologies related to contemporary translation theories will also be introduced. At the end of the module students will be able to: produce written texts of different types; communicate orally at an advanced level; translate specialist and non-specialist texts from an intercultural perspective.
