Detailed field and underground mappingled to the three-‐dimensional reconstruc$on of geometries of the skarn and magma$c bodies of Campiglia MariFma ore deposit. The textural features of skarn minerals observed at Campiglia MariFma led to infer the fluid flow path during skarn forma$on. Integra$on with petrographic, mineralogical and geochemical-‐isotopic data allowed to reconstruct the rela$ve $ming and the mechanisms of skarn-‐ and ore-‐forming processes showing significant differences with respect to the evolu$on of a skarn deposit acknowledged as “normal”. Furthermore, a Fe-‐Cu ore overprints a previously formed Zn-‐Pb ore, an unexpected process during the “normal prograde to retrograde skarn evolu$on”. The bulk of this evidence generated a new interpre$ve model based on a reverse telescoping ore evolu$on process.
