Leggere con attenzione prima di iniziare l’installazione

Vorremmo richiamare la vostra attenzione sui punti 5 e 6 di questo documento:

• Il massetto cementizio deve essere predisposto in modo tale che, una volta posato il piatto in acciaio di sostegno, le doghe in pietra siano perfettamente livellate ed in bolla.

• La malta magra deve essere applicata in modo tale da creare un massetto cementizio che non presenti spazi fra il piatto in acciaio ed il massetto stesso.

• Le guide di supporto delle doghe devono essere livellate e tali da garantirne la perfetta complanarità senza consentire flessioni.

La corretta esecuzione di questi passaggi è fondamentale. La presenza di spazi d’aria fra il piatto in acciaio ed il massetto o la non complanarità delle guide può comportare possibili flessioni delle doghe che col tempo ne potrebbero causare la rottura.

We would draw your particular attention to Steps 5 and 6 of this manual which cover the following points:

• The mortar bed must be created so as to ensure that the slats, once in place, are perfectly flush.

• The mortar mix must be applied so as to create a morta bed which is completely compacr and solid. there should be no unfilled space or air pockets between the stainless steel tray and the mortar bed.

• The horizontal supports must be absolutely level so that once the wooden slats are laid in place there is no margin for movement.

These steps are crucial as if not carried out precisely, the result may be an unstable surface which could lead to the wooden slats breaking over time.

La piletta di scarico è posizionata al centro del piatto doccia. In fase di progettazione prevedere il corretto posizionamento del tubo di scarico.

The waste is positioned in the centre of the shower tray. Please ensure that during the preparatory phase, the placement of the tube is taken into account.

Posare la scatola a terra in posizione orizzontale con la faccia superiore rivolta verso l’alto. Tagliare lungo il bordo tratteggiato. Tirare fuori la struttura dalla scatola compresi gli angolari di sostegno in modo che possano essere utilizzati per posare

il piatto a terra una volta tolto dalla scatola.

Place the carton on the ground with the top side facing up. Cut along the dotted lines indicated and remove the tray and the internal packing supports so that you can

lay the tray on top of them once on the ground.

3. Applicazione trattamento impermeabilizzante/ Apply waterproofing 2. Realizzazione vano per la piletta di scarico / Prepare the ground

Realizzare un vano quadrato in posizione centrale rispetto al pozionamento del piatto doccia e in corrispondenza del tubo di scarico per l’installazione della piletta.

Il vano deve avere dimensioni approssimative di 300 x 300 x 60 mm.

Make a square hole in the centre of the area where the shower tray will be placed. The cavity should measure approximately 300 x 300 x 60 mm deep to accommodate the

waste pipe.

Applicare un trattamento impermeabilizzante sulla superficie interna e circostante.

Apply a waterproofing coating to both the recess for the waste and the entire area where the shower tray will be placed.

5. Installazione della piletta (B) / Install waste (B) 4. Posa in opera del pavimento / Lay surrounding floor

Procedere con l’installazione del pavimento lasciando uno spazio, privo di pavimentazione, inferiore alla dimensione del piatto doccia di circa 10 cm per lato.

Lay the floor surface arounf where the shower tray will be installed, leaving a rectangle slightly smaller than the shower tray ( we recommend 10 cm on every side).

Posizionare la piletta e collegarla al tubo di scarico. Verificare che la piletta sia stata portata a livello del pavimento. Verificare che la piletta scarichi correttamente e se necessario, usare della schiuma poliuretanica per il fissaggio. Cementare e assicurarsi

che il piano creato sia in bolla.

Position the waste and connect it to the waste pipe. Check that the waste is positioned level with the floor then check that it functions correctly. If necessary, use polypolyurethane foam to hold it in place. Apply the mortar mix and make sure that the

surface you have created is perfectly level.

Installata la piletta, prima di procedere con le successive fasi di montaggio, verificare che scarichi correttamente.

Once the waste is installed, check that it drains correctly before proceeding to the next step.

6. Posizionamento del piatto doccia (A) / Position the shower tray (A)

Posizionare il piatto doccia sul massetto.

Lower the tray in place. It must be absolutely flush on the mortar bed.

IMPORTANTE! / IMPORTANT!

• Assicurarsi che il massetto cementizio consenta la perfetta complanarità delle guide di supporto delle doghe e non permetta eventuali flessioni della struttura in acciaio che potrebbero causare la rottura delle lastre di legno.

• Applicare il silicone neutro per il marmo (fornito nel kit) sul pavimento dove andrà a posizionare il bordo del piatto doccia.

• Mettere uno strato di malta magra dove andrà ad appoggiare il piatto doccia in quantità sufficiente a garantire che la struttura in acciaio goda di pieno supporto e non permetta flessioni delle guide di sostegno.

• Ensure that the mortar bed is packed tightly so that it is completely compact and no air pockets can form as this could create an unstable surface for the shower tray and lead to the stone slats breaking over time.

• Ensure that the mortar bed is complete level so that once the stainless steel tray is in place the horizontal supports will be absolutely flush. As the wooden slats will be placed on these, it is critical that they are completely solid so that will be no margin for vertical movement of the slats.

• Apply neutral silicone suitable for natural stone (as provided in the kit) to the floor.

This should be applied to all four sides where the edges of the shower tray will be placed.

• Add a layer of fine mortar mix so as to ensure that once the stainless steel structure is in place, it will be robustly supported and that it will remain completely stable.

Collegare la ghiera della piletta come specificato nella guida di installazione Viega.

Connect the clamping collar of the waste as per the instruction in the Viega guide.

Far passare il tempo di asciugatura. Una volta che il massetto si è seccato, applicare le guarnizioni di gomma su ogni supporto.

Allow the mortar bed to set. Once it is completely set, apply the rubber casing strips over each horizontal support.

Trattamento superficiale degli elementi in pietra naturale / Cleaning and maintenance of the stone border

Ishiburo esce dalla fabbrica già trattato. Poiché non amiamo verniciare con resine o pitture la superficie dei nostri marmi, applichiamo tre strati di sigillante penetrante ad altissimo potere protettivo. In questo modo riusciamo a preservare il prodotto e l’aspetto

naturale della pietra. È necessario ricordare che non esiste un sigillante in commercio in grado di proteggere al 100% la pietra naturale dalle macchie, in particolare se la

sostanza penetrante viene lasciata a lungo a contatto con il marmo.

Il sigillante protegge la pietra per qualche minuto dall’attacco dell’agente macchiante, per cui è necessario rimuoverlo per evitare che la macchia si fissi.

Every Ishiburo shower tray leaves our factory in Tuscany pre-sealed. Since we do not like to paint the surface of our lovely stone with transparent paints or resins, we apply three

coats of the highest possible level of protective penetrating sealant.

That said, please bear in mind that there is no sealer on the market that can make natural stone 100% stain-proof, so we recommend that any potential staining agent

is wiped up as soon as possible.

Pulizia quotidiana della pietra naturale / Natural stone: everyday cleaning

Per la pulizia ordinaria delle superfici in pietra, utilizzare sempre saponi o detergenti neutri. Come detergente neutro Salvatori consiglia FilaBrio. Fare sempre

riferimento alle indicazioni riportate sulla confezione del prodotto.

To clean, simply use soap or a neutral detergent such as FilaBrio, always following the instructions provided by the manufacturer.

Pulizia quotidiana e manutenzione delle doghe in legno / Natural stone: everyday cleaning

Dopo ogni utilizzo, si raccomanda di asciugare le doghe con un panno morbido, in modo da evitare la proliferazione fungina sulla superficie. Per la pulizia ordinaria delle doghe in Teak, utilizzare sempre detersivi a ph neutro ed acqua. La rimozione di eventuali residui di sapone e calcare dovuti al quotidiano utilizzo deve essere effettuata

con una spazzola a setole fitte, non troppo rigide. Si raccomanda di sfregare nel senso delle venature, per non rigare o consumare le fibre morbide del legno.

Per una corretta manutenzione del legno, le doghe dovranno essere trattate con olio di Teak, a cadenza stagionale o con frequenza da valutare in base all’utilizzo. L’olio di Teak preserva la bellezza del legno, impedendo a macchie o altri agenti di rovinare le fibre.

We recommend that you dry the wooden slats with a soft cloth after every use to help avoid the formation of mould over time. To clean the slats, simply use water and a neutral detergent. To remove any soap or limescale that has built up over time, use a

brush with thick, soft bristles, following the wood’s veining so that you avoid scoring or wearing the teak fibres.Ideally, the slats should be treated with teak oil every three months or so, depending on how often the shower is used. Teal oil helps protect

against stains and preserves the natural beauty of the wood.

In nessun caso utilizzare prodotti aggressivi che possano intaccare irreparabilmente la superficie della pietra e del legno, come: alcool, acidi o prodotti anticalcare.

Never use aggressive cleaning products such as acids or limescale removers as these could damage both the natural stone and teak..

Pulizia straordinaria della pietra naturale / Natural stone: enhanced maintenance

Per la manutenzione straordinaria delle pietre Salvatori consiglia:

PS87 PRO: adatto per ogni pietra, per la pulizia di macchie ostinate e per la manutenzione straordinaria.

FOB XTREME: protettivo neutro a base solvente che protegge senza alterare il colore naturale delle pietre.

STONEPLUS: protettivo ravvivante a base solvente consigliato per Pietra d’Avola.

Where particularly assiduous cleaning or maintenance is required, Salvatori recommends the following products: products on the stone border:

PS87 PRO: for the removal of stubborn stains

FOB XTREME: neutral solvent-based protectant which does not alter the stone’s natural colour

STONEPLUS: colour-enhancing, solvent-based protectant recommended for Pietra d’Avola.
