For over 10 years we have worked with distinction by positioning ourselves in the

“Silicon Valley” of the bike world and changing the way to think about the saddle.

We have created new systems and technologies, such as Multishape, Multisize and MYOWN; an innovative system that allows the consumer to identify the saddle most suitable for them according to their characteristics and discipline practiced.

We have patented new generation systems and materials including CPC (Connect Power Control) to ensure and further improve performance and comfort. We have created specific saddles for various disciplines in collaboration with the best cyclists in the world and watching them win has been, and continues to be, a source of pride and stimulus. Used in “F1” and in the military field CPC - connected Power Control is the system patented by Prologo that ensures performance and comfort providing vibration absorbing, grip and position stability. Thanks to its nano-structure, the special conical and hollow 3D polymer reduces muscle fatigue and facilitates air flow by reducing the temperature in the contact zone. CPC, moreover, positioned in strategic points, protects muscles, tendons and soft tissues from the stresses deriving “from the road” guaranteeing its performance in every climatic condition.

C3 “carbon composite compound” is the technology which involves the use of a carbon fiber monocoque construction offering ultra-light performance that is structurally more solid than conventional materials used on the market. This innovative process allows the manufacturing of products that can reach weights below 149 gr. and increases the mechanical resistance over 13%. These features combined with the ‘high density’ padding of the saddles, allow C3 to achieve a high level of performance and comfort.

Prologo offers saddles in different widths. With this system we are able to cover the physical demands of the cyclist and provide the right ischial support, distributing the pressure in the pelvic area. The width of the saddle is determined by several key factors including: ischial opening, BMI and flexibility of the back (pelvic rotation). Choosing the appropriate size can be easily verified by running the MyOwn test, the Prologo fitting system, at your local Prologo dealer.

Nano carbon fiber rail. Carbon fiber, Kevlar and aluminium filaments are placed into the seat-post clamp area, treated with the production process called Braided Carbon Rail (BCR). This is done in order to obtain “the perfect fusion” and uniformity of the several type of fibers and materials. The results is a balance structure and resistant to penetration.

The PAS system (perineal area system) is a channel designed to eliminate pressure spikes and numbness by improving blood flow. Its special ergonomic design, assisted by foam with variable density, eliminates contact points in the genital and/or prostatic areas.

The PAS channel is ideal for users who prefer performance combined with comfort over long and medium distances.

The SPACE system eliminates contact points in the middle of the saddle preventing pressure spikes and numbness improving blood flow.

The channel is presented with a wide anatomical channel that crosses the saddle along the whole central axis of the same; the foam density’

differentiated and increased (+ 3 mm), in combination with the greater width of the saddle, guarantee absolute comfort making these saddles suitable for unisex use.

The Space range is available with round, semi-round and flat shapes in the models Dimension, Scratch, Nago, Zero and Kappa.

Il sistema PAS (perineal area system) è un canale studiato per eliminare picchi di pressione e intorpidimenti migliorando il flusso sanguigno. Il suo particolare disegno di forma ergonomica, coadiuvato da schiuma a densità variabile, elimina i punti di contatto nella zona prostatico-genitale.

Il canale PAS è ottimale per utilizzatori che prediligono la performance

abbinata al comfort su lunghe e medie distanze. Il sistema SPACE elimina i punti di contatto nella zona centrale della

sella impedendo picchi di pressione e intorpidimenti e migliorando il flusso sanguigno. Il canale si presenta con un ampio canale anatomico che attraversa la sella lungo tutto l’asse centrale della stessa; le schiume a densità’ differenziata e maggiorate (+ 3 mm), in combinazione con la maggior larghezza della sella, garantiscono un comfort assoluto rendendo queste selle adatte ad un utilizzo unisex.

OPTIMIZED Tip AND PAS CHANNEL Another point specifically studied for this saddle is the tip: it’s been redesigned optimizing its size with 3 mm increase and with an angle of 30 °, is much more flexible in order to eliminate pressure during maximum thrust or very technical climbs. The W650 also features a central tunnel (Prologo’s PAS system) that eliminates numbness and reduces the compression of soft issues, improving blood flow in the pelvic area.

IL CANALE DI SCARICO PAS (versione W650) Per questo progetto anche la punta è stata ridisegnata, ottimizzandone dimensioni e forma;

in particolare è stata aumentata la superficie di appoggio di 3 mm, ottenendo una misura che consente di migliorare il comfort senza ostacolare l’azione della pedalata. Si è inoltre prevista un’inclinazione di 30° con struttura flessibile, che aiuta ad eliminare i picchi di pressione in fase di massima spinta o salita molto tecnica. W650 si avvale anche della tecnologia PAS, canale di scarico, in grado di ridurre la compressione dei tessuti molli e gli intorpidimenti in zona prostatica, favorendo il flusso sanguigno nella zona pelvica.

The new shell and cover

The monocoque shell of Proxim W650 has been specifically designed to accommodate the new Multi Sector System, at the rear it is more concave to allow complete support and adaptation of the foams even in places where less pressure is applied; in this way the seat is sustained and supported in every single movement. The combination of the curved shell and the active foams is appreciated even more in case of sudden accelerations when the risk of recoil is very high, in fact on one side the foams decelerate the movement, on the other the accentuated curvature allows to block it completely. The covering material of the back cover has been studied and designed to increase the grip action ensuring performance.

La nuova scocca e il rivestimento Lo scafo monoscocca di Proxim W650 è stato studiato appositamente per ospitare il nuovo Multi Sector System, nella parte posteriore risulta infatti più concavo per consentire un completo supporto e adattamento delle schiume anche nei punti dove si applica minor pressione; in questo modo tutta la seduta non solo è sostenuta ma viene assecondata in ogni singolo movimento. La combinazione tra lo scafo curvo e le schiume attive si apprezza ancor di più in caso di accelerazioni improvvise quando il rischio di contraccolpo è molto elevato, infatti da un lato le schiume decelerano lo spostamento, dall’altro la curvatura accentuata consente di bloccarlo del tutto. Il materiale di rivestimento della cover posteriore è stato studiato e disegnato per aumentare l’azione di grip assicurando le prestazioni in qualsiasi condizione atmosferica.

THE SHAPE

The design and shape of the Proxim saddles W650 & W450 have been inspired by the new generation of ergonomic models such as the Dimension. The PERFORMANCE versions are available in widths 145 & 155mm, while the SPORT version is available in 155mm width. The round shape of these saddles, combined with ‘MSS’ - Multi Sector System technology, allows a greater freedom of movement by facilitating a double action of support and containment in the riding phase.

Il design e la forma delle selle Proxim W650 / W450 si sono ispirati a modelli ergonomici di nuova generazione come Dimension.

Le versioni PERFORMANCE sono disponibili nelle larghezze 145 / 155mm, mentre le versioni SPORT nella massima larghezza 155mm. Proxim Line (W 650/ W450) introduce a new revolutionary technology, the Multi – Sector System. This technology provides three different individual zones mapped and separated along the saddle, each composed of different interactive foams and single-cell padding. These areas work independently adapting to all the positions that cyclist can take.

Dimension is comfort, performance and lightness. The combination of short nose (35mm less than a traditional saddle) and PAS system ensures blood flow and pressure relief, ensuring comfort even in aerodinamic position or maximum pushing phase. Dimension Space è progettata per ciclisti con una flessibilità lombare medio bassa e con una distanza ischiale più importante; la forma tonda della sella e la larghezza di 153 mm, aiutano la naturale rotazione del bacino migliorando l’appoggio delle ossa pubiche anche in fase di massima spinta. Il canale “PAS” (più largo e più profondo in confronto alle versioni std) elimina intorpidimenti e riduce la compressione di tessuti molli, tendini, e vasi migliorando il flusso sanguigno nell’area pelvica. L’imbottitura maggiorata (+7mm) a densità multiple, trasmette un ottimo comfort soprattutto sulle lunghe distanze. Questa sella si concentra sul comfort extra degli utenti finali di categoria ed entrambi i sessi.

The saddle size is 245mm long and 143mm wide, while the weight varies depending on the model: the Nack version weighs 170 grams, while the TIROX weighs 215 grams. This range designed for triathlon and time trials guarantees excellent performance, improving comfort in all pedaling phases thanks to the ergonomic “V SHAPE” shape, in combination with the new PAS channel, modified in width and depth. These devices guarantee a better blood flow eliminating numbness and excessive pressure in the genital / prostatic area. In the versions with CPC technology the “slips” are also eliminated, improving the stability of the athlete and guaranteeing better aerodynamics. The tests carried out on the track and in the wind tunnel with some of the most important professional teams in the world, confirmed an improvement in performance of 5-8% Foams with variable density, increased by 15% in the upper part and on the tip of the saddle, allow to increase the support surface, dissipating the pressures homogeneously, as well as guaranteeing a greater support area for the antero-ischial area, especially in the maximum aerodynamic position.

Dimension TRI is a saddle born for triathlon and time trial users

Dimension TRI è una sella nata per l’utilizzo di triathlon e cronometro. La sella è lunga 245mm e larga 143 mm, mentre il peso varia a seconda del modello: il collo pesa 170 grammi, mentre il TIROX pesa 215 grammi. Questa gamma garantisce prestazioni eccellenti, migliorando il comfort in tutte le fasi di pedalata grazie alla forma ergonomica “V SHAPE”, in combinazione con il nuovo canale PAS, modificato in larghezza e profondità.

Queste tecnologie permettono un migliore flusso sanguigno eliminando intorpidimento e pressione eccessiva nella zona genitale / prostatica. Nelle versioni con tecnologia CPC vengono eliminati anche gli “scivolamenti”, migliorando la stabilità dell’atleta e garantendo una migliore aerodinamica. Le prove effettuate in pista e in galleria del vento con alcune delle più importanti squadre professionali del mondo, hanno confermato un miglioramento delle prestazioni delle schiume del 5-8% a densità variabile; un incremento del 15% nella parte superiore e sulla punta della sella, permette di aumentare la superficie di appoggio, dissipando le pressioni in modo omogeneo, oltre a garantire una maggiore superficie di appoggio per l’antero-zona ischiale, soprattutto nella posizione aerodinamica massima.

The measurements are 250 x 140mm in width and the weights vary depending on the configuration: the Nack saddle- worn vest weighs only 129gr while the Tirox 185gr. The new MSS Multi Section System seating system, designed in co-operation with the Politecnico of Milano, helps improve comfort and performance; the active foams separated from each other create 5 zones working in an smart and individual way favoring the natural movement of the pedaling phase both of pushing and pulling, absorbing the vibrations that the fiber body transfers to the over-saddle. The Round Shape of the M5 / M5 PAS allows the pelvis a natural rotation, creating stability and support for the lumbar areas; moreover the distribution of the pressures on a greater surface.

innovative in termini di dimensioni, forma ed ergonomia, sono adatte a molteplici usi e discipline (Road / Off Road), fra cui il Triathlon. Grazie al nuovo design, alle dimensioni e alla forma ergonomica “T SHAPE”, le SCRATCHES M5 sono idonee all’uso indistinto Uomo/ Donna. Le misure sono 250 x 140mm di larghezza e i pesi variano a seconda della configurazione modello: il Nack pesa solo 129gr, mentre il Tirox 185gr. Il nuovo sistema di sedute MSS Multi Section System, progettato in collaborazione con il Politecnico di Milano, contribuisce a migliorare comfort e prestazioni.
