A FINANCIAL ANALYSIS OF THE CONDUCTION OF THE HDA PLANTS – PART 2 The first part of the analysis, published in the last issue, focused on the expenses and revenues which are fixed, at full production, thanks to contracts signed with fixed prices.
Toluene (2380 bbl/w), benzene (1883 bbl/w) and diphenyl (14 t/w), instead, are bought and sold according to their weekly average market value – in case of diphenyl, at 20% of its value, because of its low purity.
Taking last week as an example:
