Education objectives The course deals the issues related to planning of the living space, in relation to aesthetics, ergonomics, lighting, optimization of habitable areas on board, as well as the furniture components, through the identification of tools and methods for the management of various parts of the project.

Learning outcomes Cognitive abilities: compare the principles and theories used in the design and construction of the interior of the boats.

Practical skills: develop the different degree of details of the project, up to the definition of detail drawings for the definition of appropriate manufacturing information.

Organization and examinations Under the program and the topics covered, the teaching will be organized with lectures and revisions to check regularly the progress of work of the various steps of the annual thematic project. The annual planning exercise is divided into three steps separately evaluated. The average of the three assessments will help to make the final assessment.

Binding condition in order to take the exam:

attend classes and carry out the intermediate

exercises.

Prerequisite Student should have already learned the basics of composition and design applied to boats, moreover he must have already acquired the ability to design CAD 3D.
