La signora G.S, di 63 anni è stata sottoposta ad artroprotesi d’anca per la diagnosi e la sintomatologia di coxartrosi primaria; presentava un livello d

emoglobina preoperatoria di 14,6 g/dL, un HHS di 40,2, e uno WOMAC di 54.

Durante la degenza è andata incontro ad anemia postchirurgica per cui è

stata sottoposta ad emotrasfusione. Ai controlli post operatori clinici e

radiografici il decorso è apparso regolare; a 60 giorni dall’intervento l’HHS è

stato di 72 e lo WOMAC di 73,4 mentre a 6 mesi l’HHS è stato 83 e lo WOMAC
