The Research so far…
TEACHING METHODS and STRATEGIES, OBJECTIVES and LESSON PLANS
• All students were invited to use IWB / devices (it was the starting point for my BYOD
experience which lasted throughout the final year)
• Students would work with online tools and apps so to better integrate contents in the module we had in our curriculum
• A learning by doing approach
• A 100% technoCLIL approach
• Students can be full immersed in the ‘language for the language’
• An inspiring and motivating
experience 100% inclusive (SEN as well as gifted and talented).
• OBJECTIVES
• to enhance motivation and participation in learning English through different experiences
• to improve interaction in English
• to improve group work and cooperation
• to practice online interaction (Padlet, eTwinning, etc.) and create collaborative online works (Tagul, Kahoot, LearningApps, Edmodo, iFakeWhatsapp, etc…)
• CONTENT & ACTIVITIES
• Invent a whatsapp
conversation between two or more characters (real or fake) from English culture
• Imagine a context / write a review about an important place from English culture
• Create a video
presentation/wordart about a character from English culture
